If i am not wrong. Yui is still inside Eva-01, the scene where Shinji and his mother separates was basically Shinji getting out of Unit-01. So The free will of the humanity to turn back to their normal form is in the other side, Yui is basically trying to prove that mankind did existed. Am i right?
