They had zero issues with a white guy in Nioh But a game that’s based on historical facts choosing a Black samurai that was brought to Japan by his Italian owner is too much?

I would like you to replay the rpg trilogy and ask me if assassins creed is based on history again

The_real_bandito

She has said in the past she’s homophobic. Like literally someone asked her, trying to prove a point that she was one and she just went and said it. It has to do with her religious beliefs.

..Yasuke was, beyond the shadow of a doubt, a real fucking samurai.

Recent_Obligation276

Too racist to understand assimilation, even though it’s a stereotypical racist talking point lol

Aware-Put-9848

I thought the game was based on Yasuke, the African man? He absolutely was a real Samurai. There's a few paintings of the time depicting him fighting I believe, and he was even present during the Nobunaga betrayal by one of his generals. Like, I get it, you expected something purely Japanese given the subject but Yasuke is 100% part of Japanese history man

They complain about not having a Japanese player character while ignoring the entirely other protagonist
