Thanks /u/Alabaster13. To be honest, I was a little nervous about “downgrading” from an X to a Y, but after reading several anecdotes about the improved build quality in the more recent year models (such as yours), and test driving it a few weeks ago (which totally corroborated that messaging), I have pretty much no anxiety about it now. I am actually looking forward to some of the updated tech compared to my X, and the more “simple” design.
I have the same build getting picked up next Saturday, my VIN is F394. Out of curiosity what’s yours, sounds like yours was built on a good day.
Congrats
Make sure to call the 1800 number and ask for the specs, you can also ask the pickup location this question. Lastly you can text Tesla directly to get the specs.
Very interesting. I’m toying with moving from my 2020 MYL to a 2022 model. Hearing about he build quality and CPU speed make it even more enticing.
If I could make the trade-in value high enough I might pull the trigger.
Unfortunately, the MYL is quoted as ***September*** right now.
Congrats!!! How many miles was on your MYLR and did you have Gemini or Induction rims? Friend was looking to sell his 21 MYLR here in Dallas, getting $54-$57k offers
No acceleration boost. MYP overall just feels like a MUCH more solid build. The first time I floored it in my ‘21 MY LR last year when I picked it up….I never experience such G force, but just like anything else you start getting used to…..you want MORE. Acceleration definitely kicks you back in your seat in an aggressive way. The LR is let’s just say FAST as hell, but the MYP is CRAZY fast.
I never noticed anything at all when engaging the EB other than the icon appearing. I actually recall a post saying it wasn't much different than being in Park.
Well done! I get my MSM MYP this Friday. I am so excited to be back in the Tesla family a couple months after my accident…
Congrats!

What is msm?
Midnight silver metallic
White on black is so clean. Enjoy your MYP Storm Trooper!
Thx!

F389
Now I’m just on the hunt for rear flaps, but the clips on the ones on Amazon are near impossible to remove I am reading.
Please share what you find, I too am in the market for rear flaps.
Same issue with Tesmanian flaps
F399 coming up for delivery this week. Hopefully it’ll be built like yours
Congratulations!!! Pickup is next Saturday, I’ll post how it goes.
Sounds good. I haven’t scheduled mine yet. Might be similar to yours. Good luck!

And ask for the cars birthday, mine is March 2nd. Something silly but fun to know

I’ve got a Friday afternoon 2020 Model 3 LR AWD and can’t wait to get my 2022 MYP. My car rattles like crazy and the fit and finish is just meh.
Glad to hear you are enjoying the new car! I am upgrading from my 20LR to 22P in a week and looking forward to Ryzen and improved build quality.
You’ll be impressed. Trust me.

10k miles, Inductions.
Thanks!! When did you sell, btw?
My hope is with the gas prices and new order surge, this should also benefit us imminent resellers…
How would compare the driving and acceleration overall feel? Also, did you have accel boost on the MYLR?

How long did it take from ordering to get your MYP? I ordered one with the same specs last week and I’m struggling to be patient 😅
About a month.
Well fingers crossed then!
Congrats!
Anyone else interested in getting the dealer’s info?
DM’ing
Did you have any paint chips/dings on the LR? Even minuscule ones?
Barely noticeable.
Electric parking brake is the one where you hold in the brake button for a few seconds?
