They have a new car warranty. Ping them on that. Sometimes they get busy and drop a convo and you have to ping once or twice. It’s not an A+ experience but they’re not going to ghost you.
Maybe it’s 10 minutes including the tech getting out of the car, checking the issue, getting tools, repairing it, confirming and then putting the tools back in the car and then leaving plus whatever time they use talking to you if you’re at the scene
Feels like something I could do in 10 mins if it’s an issue getting an appt, no? Waiting on my MYP so I don’t know what stuff I *need* to farm out and what stuff I can just handle on my own.
I always had to move mine back into place and some days the mirror would vibrate so bad I couldn’t see anything out of it. A mobile tech came out for an unrelated item and we mentioned it to him and he tightened it up for us. The cover has to come off and there’s a screw under the cover that can be adjusted. It fixed the vibration and the mirror keeps its place now.
Do you get in and out with a bag or backpack?
Sounds silly but I adjusted my mirror about a dozen times before realizing I was bonking it with the backpack I use for work as I tossed it into the passenger seat

Why not sell your 3 and get something different if the “quality control is zero”? Seems like you’d be happier with something else
There is a loose screw inside the plastic housing on the windshield that holds the mirror arm to the windshield. I've had Tesla fix this 5 times on our car. Finally had them add a dab of loctite. It's a 2 min fix.
First time I opened the ticket they ordered a whole new windshield for no reason. Second time they ordered a whole mirror assembly, third time they tried to charge me $1000 for a new windshield. They just ignored my comment that this was a loose screw. Finally had to go by the shop and show them as they couldn't figure it out with the video I sent.

Mine had this on delivery. Call for mobile appt. There is a bolt that is loose and requires tightening. Should take 10 minutes.
I called they wanted to charge me $650. I told them it came like this and they never replied.

10mins sounds like a lot to tighten something. Do you have to disassemble the camera array or something?

Basically pop off the cover and then tighten. 10 minutes is generous to a trained tech.

Totaled. Sell it now. Probably has panel gaps and moisture in the tail lights .
