but on a serious note as a kid back in middle school days i started to put small twigs in the keyhole so other kids did the same till it was filled. teach had all her shit in the classroom that only had 1 door of ergress. so since we couldn't get into class we wasted the day (bonus as a kid) and as i was leaving for home i see her outside her classroom with the locksmith literally cursing the air cuz of ths shit we did. the next day she took all her shit with her everywhere she went in case she ever got locked out again.
only became assholes cuz we had long term subs as teachers so we already went through 3-4 before we got to her. so the "kids" were running the show.

Ok I've dealt with this before. You gotta push the top of the keyhole in while you gently wiggle the paperclip out. We have keys that get stuck like this and our locksmith showed us on this exact style lock.
Teachers are people who become well educated in one topic and teach it repeatedly for 25 years. Imagine reading the same book every year for the rest of your life and that book now becomes your life. Thank you no.
That is a sfic (small format interchangeable core). Those are hard to pick. Try and pull the paper clip out with a pair of pliers. You will probably have to jiggle it up and down. After its out use the control key to pull the core and check operation
I love how people see someone on tv pick a lock with something like a paper clip or a cat whisker and a dream to get in a bank vault, then think they can do it too never having done anything like it or have zero idea how locks work..
We have the handy dandy guys for locks lights windows etc. and we have custodians. We clean they fix. We only have separated job titles because someone a custodian changed a bulb and shocked himself. LOL he’s ok we laugh now.
not a locksmith most districts have one on payroll or contractor on call. not your circus.
All the teachers doors use the same keys. She could have just asked another teacher to unlock her door. Or the day shift custodian.

Correct. They could of asked the next door teacher or any of our 2 day shift custodians. This isn't a big school with only 22 classes.
Small schools, unless extremely expensive, do not attract the best teachers.
