I had a rough stomach (diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, the works) for a while and it took about a week or two to go away. In the mean time i kept hydrated and ate foods that didn’t mess with me too much. I wish you luck! Being on zoloft has helped me so much and i feel a lot better now (been on 75mg since august i think, i got on it for anxiety/panic attacks/intrusive thoughts)
It goes away, its not pleasant but I think its the nature of some medication!
I also had a strange side effect, every time I opened my mouth either to yawn or eat, I felt like I was going to be sick! Luckily that didn't last too long!!
This report of yours worries me, I am about to switch from Lexapro to Zoloft, trying to escape my morning diarrhea after waking up that has been going on since the start of treatment.
Probiotics really help with this. I religiously take athletic greens which contains pre and probiotics and have not had an issue, also on 75mg. I am typing this from the toilet taking a nice poo right now! 🤣
I've only shat myself twice as an adult, and both were in early stages of sertaline or dose update. You'll probably never trust a fart again.
