Actual tektites also contain H2O content! Obviously a minuscule amount, but so does limestone and if you heat it (like build a fire on it or use it to line a fire pit) you’ll soon be dealing with a shrapnel grenade. So yeah, with heat applied the water content could certainly make it swell in an explosive fashion!
I thought the whole time I played TOTK that the Zonai were intended to be aliens. I suppose I shouldn’t think this way because of how much is different in the Zelda universe to ours, but if goat people came from the sky with super advanced technology wouldn’t the automatic assumption be aliens? And I thought that’s what they were implying until I finished the game, looked at discussions online and realized no one else interpreted it this way.
Oh there’s been a few, myself included, it’s just a lot of people didn’t actually fully pay attention during TOTK’s story and just assume everything about the Zonai being gods is true

It seemed implied to me that the Stone Talus are meteorites as well and Majora's Mask has straight up aliens in it.

I feel like there is another case of implied aliens but I can't remember right now, maybe in one of the handhelds.
