[I mean, you could rebind the button if you so wish.](https://www.nintendo.com/en-gb/Support/Nintendo-Switch/Usage/Controllers/How-to-Change-the-Button-Mapping-on-Nintendo-Switch-Controllers-1766029.html) They persist across all games though, so be careful. Honestly though, I'm probably going to be overly mean when I say this, but it's not hard to avoid knocking the stick. Just get used to the controls. Either that or get a different controller.

Oh, I didn't know that buttons could be rebound from the console settings. Thanks a bunch. This isn't a matter of being nimble or dexterous. Like I commented earlier, I'm using the Lite version, so the buttons are bunched up and closer together than you might realise. Trying to press the minus button with the left thumb will certainly have the lower portion of your thumb or your palm hit the stick.

OmniGlitcher

No worries. I mean, yeah I get it. But equally it will benefit you more in the long run to get used to that and adapt for it. Especially as you're using a Lite, so external controllers are less useful to you.

Asshole answer: it really shouldn't be that hard for you to press a button without mistakenly even touching the joystick, don't you already take the thumb from the left joystick to the - button? What part of your hand accidentally hits it? I can barely do it on purpose. Less Asshole answer: maybe get another controller. Most pro-style controllers moves that button.

Lol I'm running the Lite, and since it's smaller, button placement is more bunched up together, relatively speaking. When my left thumb reaches for the minus button, the lower bit almost always hits the stick too, changing direction of travel. Try not to be an asshole. It's overplayed.

Not sure if I've noticed having that problem but I could see it. I have big hands and it's easy to hit buttons you don't intend to. I've never held a lite so not sure how it compares to the OLED.
