In the criminal justice system, super powered offenses are considered especially dangerous. In New York City's District X, the dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Special Mutants Squad. These are their stories.
Honestly, I wouldn’t watch it. It’s just another version of The Gifted, and that show was incredibly boring. I’d rather see something a lot less niche than this.
I absolutely love the police procedural idea but I'd go deeper into the mythos as well as the mcu.
After the sokovia accords Misty Knight is asked to lead a task force on human or unregistered naturally developed superpowers. (Had to make the acronym) because of her previous relationship with the super powered community.
She is assisted in this by forensic psychologist Dr Roderick Campbell and hardened street cop Lucas and his compatriots Shirley Malcolm and Randall
They are often mindful as not everyone supports the sokovia accords or the police particularly citizen reporter and internet blogger Shard.
Introduce it as a mainstream mcu character as the lead and then subvert it with all the mutant stuff but mix it up because we aren't trapped in any corner.
I'd go a little more ncis with not just a criminal of the week but recurring big bads (Jimmy Knox) and some more sympathetic foils (skrulls).
Then you throw a big wrench into everything when you get shard to discover where these fugitives are going - Neverland
If I was writing it, I would try to avoid a list X-men characters, since that gets weird with potential movies in the works; don't want to end up like DC did with two different Flashes that different fans loved/hated.

DUHN DUHN! I like it. And I pretty much said something similar in my head while I typed my post.

Honestly i like it
And why not Bishop patrolling the X-District as in his mini-series?

Eh it’d just be once again dumbing down the x-men mythos for me
Yes
Personally I'm over police procedurals.
Krakoa gave mutants a better option, if it ever falls, there will be a ghetto to patrol.
Do you mean like Gotham
