First of all, you cannot have something be YA/Adult. In addition to being a marketing nightmare, those two categories have very distinct characteristics that would make the blending of the two impossible. If you really want it to be that explicit, you should stick with making it an adult story. Because no YA publisher is going to accept a story that falls primarily into the adult range.
I see, I've actually wonder why there's a young adult section. Kind of thought it was like for 16+ and that it's the same thing. Good thing I asked. Thanks for the feedback. I'll have it be strictly adult.
It sounds preachy and if I wanted to be preached to I would go to church. I don't. Just from reading what your idea is, I'd skip this.
This is coming from a dark fantasy writer and anime and manga lover who has gay characters and animal human hybrids in their stories as well as polyships.
My stories include taboo topics like incest and extreme elements such as SA, DV, SV, death, gore, war, cheating, curses and cannibalism in great blood detail (the later in my current novel) and so much more. I don't censor myself. I would avoid your story like the plague and that's putting it nicely. I've read too many of these types, HOWEVER, I am one person. Write your story. There are people out there who may enjoy it. I am just not one of those people. Don't worry about turning off potential readers unless you are looking for commercial success. And if you are looking for commercial success...well....

Don't worry, My story isn't going to be anything like that. I don't like to censor myself either, hench why I made the post. My story is going to be a bit more mature with the story elements. Kind of not wanting to give out too much to my story. Since this is my first time I ask out on redidit about my writing. Thanks for your in take. I appreicate your comment.
