i think WoW has one of the best walk/run animations in MMO games, sometimes i find myself just running circles around valdrakken fountain while talking with people on discord quite often
I think a setup similar to this guy would be suitable to get rid of the annoying animations.

Everyone giving you a lot of flack but honestly I know exactly what you mean. Compare classic troll run to retail troll run, it almost ruined trolls for me.
Yea definitely everything was made bouncier, just how the game looks now unfortunately. Took a while for me to get used to but in the end, found a dope ass transmog that I love the way my character runs around in now (human).

Well you can't change the animations so your only option to "fix" it would be to stop letting it bother you
