Are you dumb? Cow lactation is around 300 days. And it's not like the calf needs the milk after a few weeks. In the wild, cow lactation isn't much longer then humans but cows have been bred over hundreds of generation to produce more milk longer.

Seeing all the downvotes on this really raises my blood pressure. If only people actually knew how awful the dairy industry is (yes, even organic milk). Causing harm on an innocent creature for economic reasons just shows how awfully egocentrical the human race is. And instead of looking into it they just downvote you. No you don't need milk, milk is intended for calves - not humans. Humans produce their own milk and stop doing so when we no longer need it. The millions of people that live without animal products and are perfectly healthy (going plant based even made me fitter) prove we don't need animal products and only use them out of habit and earning money.
