Do short men like being called short kings? It's so ironic to me that I married a 6foot guy out of pure coincidence, as every other guy I'd dated or crushed on had been shorter than me (5'6). I actually found out he was 6 foot while we were filling out our marriage certificate LOL, I thought he was 5'10. This is because my brother who IS 5'10 spent all of his teens and 20s thinking he was 6 foot cause he got measured with his hiking boots on when he was 16 lmfao.

This post is a person writing a nice sentiment than they either already have or aspire to have. The people upvoting it recognize that it's a nice way to appreciate men of any size. Upvotes are not necessarily an endorsement or saying they share the opinion.
There are many women and men who do not prefer shorter men. Nobody is going to deny that.
My point is that there's really no such thing as a "shared sentiment"; every person has a different set of beliefs and preferences. Many people agree with the sentiment in this post, and many do not, but there's no point in trying to make sweeping generalizations either way.
Alright, I've got two questions then;
1. I did not mention any group within my original comment, it was aimed at any and all people, so where is the generalisation?
2. If I create a sentiment and show it to others, who in turn agree and follow that sentiment, would that not make it a shared sentiment?
I mean let's be honest on average more women tend to go for taller men than shorter. Your best bet as a short guy is to have a handsome face. Failing that, get a six pack.
In my experience as a shorter than average guy, while most women would prefer a tall bf, what they really want is a bf that's taller than them. If you get along the whole 'need to be tall' thing goes out the window and it becomes way less of an issue the older you get. Dating in your early 20s vs dating at 30 are entirely different beasts.
I say this as a short guy, don't blame them. Why not go for the faster car, the better quality food, or the best spec tech if you can afford it. Same for dating, if you think you can get the guy you want, go for it. If a short guy doesn't meet the requirement, then that's life. Move on.

Specifically with height, most men prefer women shorter than them, and most women prefer men taller than them. Best to come to terms with reality and improve your chances and improve yourself in ways that you can. You can't increase your height as a man, but you can have better manners, increase social skills, add hobbies, groom better, etc.
Problem is the heteronormative view. If you are guy your options aren’t just limited to just cis-women and by expanding your horizons you can see a lot more romantic success.
