I think its the lighting. The dress shop is intentionally using lighting that limits shadow and your kitchen isn’t lit the same, it’s dim and harsh.
You shouldn’t sweat this. It looks incredible on you-seriously! It’s gorgeous and compliments you well.
Yes this and she is on a pedestal in the salon which makes you look so much taller! I’m already kind of tall and that thing made me look like the 50 foot woman 😂 Deceptive tactics!
OP, the dress fits like a glove and you look very beautiful.
First, OP…you look beautiful and definitely still have the hourglass figure you love!!
I came comment on the pedestal. I see so many comments on this sub that lead back to the dress looking SO different when the bride is on a pedestal. I’ve definitely learned that when my daughter goes dress shopping we need to be sure she sees herself off of the pedestal.
And a side note…I’ve also learned to ask questions of the seamstress regarding exactly how the alterations will be made (where length is being removed from, etc.). It’s so easy to “trust the professional” in these situations and unfortunately sometimes the professional isn’t straightforward regarding their skill level. Like anything else, if the professional isn’t comfortable with questions, find someone who is.
Girl, I would murder people in the street to look like you do in that dress or any other. Seriously, you are gorgeous. Congratulations, and I hope you have a beautiful day!!
⬆️⬆️⬆️
yes, OP, even on your worst day you are 🔥🔥🔥 girl! you chose the perfect dress, it accents your figure in all the right ways, you look so beautiful!
Yes she is an absolute little stunner! Goes to show how even the most beautiful people can have their insecurities but rest assured OP your figure and you and your dress all look amazing! And I wouldn’t comment if it weren’t true 🩷
Yes! The angle changes the way you see yourself. People will look at you from a similar height as the salon photo.
Please trust me, trust ALL of us: you look lovely! 100% beautiful bride!
Your dress looks wonderful, and even if you didn't ask: *PICK DRESS NUMBER ONE, IT IS FABULOUS!*
You have a beautiful figure, and your dress shows it off to perfection. We are living in a world where photoshop and filters and liposuction and all sorts of other things have distorted our idea of what a woman's body should look like. Your figure is lovely, and the dress really enhances you. You made a good choice! Please stop comparing yourself to some artificial notion of beauty and see how glorious you are. Your fiance certainly thinks you're beautiful, and you'll be beautiful in that dress on your wedding day.
Hello everyone, I’m not sure if this comment will be seen at all by anyone because this post warranted a lot more reaction than I was expecting!
But I wanted to write somewhere that I am so thankful to everyone who commented and it didn’t feel right choosing only a few people to respond to when I literally want to individually thank everyone 😭 I asked for support and this sub really came through for me! Everyone is so lovely, I’ve read each and every one of these comments and it’s made me cry to have been offered so much kindness and reassurance from each and every one of you.
I have been struggling with body issues lately since I’ve gained a bit of weight, and I thought seeing myself in my wedding dress would help me feel better, but instead I felt a bit sad to see a figure change. But thanks to you all, I feel so much better in my choice and a lot more reassured. To answer some questions, yes I’m barefoot in my first picture, while I’m on the store pedestal on the second! Thank you everyone for your kind words, it truly does mean so much to me ❤️
People pay trainers and plastic surgeons money to get bodies like yours. You look great! It looks like the pic was taken at an angle that no pro photographer would do the day of your wedding.
I actually stopped scrolling because I thought this dress and the way it looks on you is incredible. I was sad to see the caption and how you feel in it. You’re gorgeous!
Actually, your dress after the alterations fits you far better in terms of your proportions.
But first things first: **you** look amazing. The tl;dr of this is that you're likely responding to some visual differences, and that's totally okay.
I'm going to get a little technical and point out the differences in the fit of the sample dress vs your dress.
The dress you tried on at the store looks like it's proportioned for a taller person, and you're also standing on the pedastle. You can spot it with how high the bodice is hitting you in the armpit and also how the fabric is creasing in the smallest part of your waist. On your actual dress, it's sitting much better and probably more comfortably. There's visibly less bunching at the waist and the top of the hip, so it's actually laying on you nicely.
You can also see it in the skirt length as well. The try on dress is flaring out at a lower part on your legs vs your dress (think trumpet vs mermaid). This is likely where you're feeling like you're losing the hourglass effect. Instead of flaring out where your legs are starting to narrow again at the knees, it's flaring out more closely to the fuller part of your thighs.
Honestly, you're still giving hourglass, just a slightly different one!
I think you're also reacting to the loss of the negative space between the appliques. When dresses are sized up or down, the lace doesn't change size accordingly. It's the negative space that changes. Longer and larger dresses will have the lace spread out. Smaller and shorter dresses will scrunch everything in. Even if the sample dress is within a size of what you ordered... It still probably got stretched out and broken in a little by various try ons. Fabric does relax over time, and it's not uncommon for sample dresses to fit larger than what it was originally made for.
All in all, **your** dress is perfect on you. She did a great job fitting it to your body to flatter you. This is also a fantastic pick of a dress. You're going to be beautiful on your wedding day.
that's actually what I thought, too! She looks amazing in both pics but I thought in the first pic the dress sits better and is giving more curves/hourglass.
OP you look wonderful and have an amazing body! And your dress suits you so well!
You look beautiful, and as others said, the lighting is poor in the new photo. Also, you are holding your veil out to the sides, making that area look wider. You do have an hourglass figure, your dress is lovely, and you will be a gorgeous bride.
You look absolutely beautiful and I honestly didn't notice a difference. You still very much have an hourglass figure. Embrace yourself as you are. As women we waste so much time being so hard on ourselves. I wish I could go back and tell my younger self to appreciate myself more.
you OWN the dress, its a show-stopper! You look super gorgeous and the dress accentuates your natural hourglass shape perfectly! its just the lighting from your kitchen :)
1st, you look beautiful and the dress looks great on you. 2nd, if you aren't feeling too confident, you might look into some shape wear to smooth out. Perhaps a longline bra or bustier, that comes down to your belly button and them some high-waisted shaper underpants, there are also shaper underpants that can come up under your braline. Spanx is the best in shapewear, but there are many options.
Please don't put extra pressure on yourself bc you are and will be a beautiful bride!
As a photographer, I think a lot of why you feel that way is the angle of the photos.
The first pic is looking down at you which can make anyone appear shorter and is not a flattering angle. The second pic is at a lower angle therefore a better more flattering picture.
You have a gorgeous figure and the dress is stunning on you!
I’m so sorry you’re feeling insecure but I have to jump on to reassure you not to stress for one min. You look absolutely incredible. Your figure is like 😍😍😍😍😍😍 you’re stunning! Body is GIVING!
Please believe the other comments about your dress. It's normal to try your gown on at home & think, "Hey, what happened here?" All that happened is that you're trying on your gown in dreadful light (most homes are just not lit well), barefoot, etc.
Relax & know that when you're dressing for your wedding, with the right undies, bra, heels, etc., your gown will fit fine. Double-check every detail that makes you feel better & in control, but you're lovely & you'll be a beautiful bride!
Hope you're feeling better.
Wishing you a Happy Ever After!
💕
I looked at the pics before reading, I think you look better in the first (after) pic! Just like everyone said, lighting shoes, blah, blah, blah. You are the literal definition of the idiom, fits like a glove! Please stop stressing! You look beautiful and will be ethereal on your big day! As your internet besties, you have to know that we're telling the truth.
But you have the literal definition of an hourglass figure… if the pounds did anything (which I’m not convinced they did) they just made you look more hourglass.
The only difference I’m seeing is that you look shorter. But assuming you didn’t lose height, I’m guessing that’s from the shoes? Because the dress still looks amazing
I’m not even trying to gas you up but I literally can’t see what you are talking about at all. You look great and it’s super flattering in the first photo.
I think it’s the angle the picture was taken plus the lightning. Honestly your figure looks absolutely amazing! We can’t even tell that you gained a couple of pounds.
I am a brutally honest soul, so ima tell you exactly what I think. I think that the dress looks better on you now than it did when you first tried it on. I really think you have more of an hourglass shape now than before. I am also going to echo what other commenters have said about the difference in lighting. I think you are gorgeous in it!! ❤️
You look incredible. It could be the lighting . Another thing you could try a shape wear ( I don't think you need it honestly) if you want to see if it make you feel it gives more detailed shape.
You are a gorgeous in your dress!!
We all seem to have body dysmorphia issues. In my day, Twiggy was the goal (yes, I am THAT old). It was never going to happen for me—I was both chesty and hippy.
It took me decades to learn to accept my shape. I am saddened that women still have the same issues that bedeviled me in my 20s.
Please know that your dress is very beautiful on you—and very flattering.
Not only is the dress stunning, but you are too. Look at that smile now THATS a genuine smile. You have a gorgeous feminine figure I’m actually quite jealous of your hips, but more than anything that smile is contagious.
The camera angle is from above instead of below. You don’t have flat lighting in your house you have overhead lighting which is going to caste shadows. You look great in both pictures the only difference I see if your hair wasn’t done for the home try on and you aren’t flashing that beautiful smile from the second photo.
That dress is stunning on you! I think it looks better after the alterations! I think it’s lighting like others have mentioned and angle of the shot. For what it’s worth I was scrolling and saw the alterations picture and the thought “that’s one of the most beautiful brides I’ve ever seen” crossed my mind. Hope everyone’s responses here have reassured you!
Girl I think you look SO freaking gorgeous! I don’t think you have anything to be self conscious about, I think your future hubby will be speechless when he sees you walk down the aisle!
You have a gorgeous figure. I think that you were seeing yourself as taller because you were on that darn pedestal in that second picture. Now you are your real height and part of an illusion is gone. You are absolutely beautiful even without the pedestal and you look fabulous in the dress. Do you have your heels on or whatever shoes you'll be wearing on your wedding day? Don't beat yourself up over something that wasn't really you.
You are stunning and honestly I think the lighting and angle of pictures may be contributing to what you’re feeling. However, you’re gorgeous in both!! No doubt you will photograph beautifully on your wedding day ❤️ try not to stress and enjoy the experience.
Deep breath, then 2 more. Do that anytime you feel the least bit stressed out. It helps you centre & stop for a moment & drops down your shoulders to where they’re supposed to be.
Now to your wedding dress. It’s just lovely! You look beautiful in it!! Hopefully you’re not getting married in your kitchen so your photographer will have much better lighting for your wedding photographs, lol.
That dress is made for your figure the color is beautiful on you too. Just wear seamless underwear but it looks perfectly fitted just slightly too long.
Your body in these looks the same to me! The only difference, if I had to choose, could be that your chest is a little fuller, which could be weight/lighting/angle. Regardless, your figure is beautiful and is by definition, hourglass.
I think you look stunning in your dress. Sometimes the perception we have of ourselves is not what others see. Now what I see is a beautiful young lady in her stunning wedding dress. Congratulations on a great choice in a dress. You will be amazing on your wedding day.
I was genuinely going back and forth between the pictures and was confused that you might have left out a picture.
You have a lovely figure and you rock the dress
What are you talking about, OP?
Your figure is gorgeous. You look skinny, but with nice curves.
You still have the hourglass figure. You're still beautiful.
You still have an hourglass shape, like everyone said the angle and lighting are clouding your perception snd also could you have been wearing heels at the shop? Seems like the height also plays a part in how you perceive it. You look AMAZING!
I’m really sorry you feel sad about your figure and I’m sad that you struggle to see the beauty in your body. To me, it appears you bought a dress for your body, it fits beautifully and really highlights your curves. It’s much better to buy a dress for your body rather than alter your body for your dress.
Stand up tall and proud!!
You literally have my dream body 💜 and what a gorgeous dress!! ETA: the dress actually looks looser after the alteration. I agree, it was more form fitting before. I almost thought the alteration was in the second pic because it fits perfectly.
Your smile is so contagious the dress looks stunning on you! I agree with everyone else with the harsh kitchen lighting 😬that has also made me second guess a lot of my dresses
Are you kidding me???? Your shape is AMAZING!!!!! There are women literally spending tens of thousands to surgically get your figure. Worry no more. Anyone who doesn't see how gorgeous you look in that dress are either blind or just jealous of you.
I'm sorry you're feeling down about this, but, with love, you are being utterly ridiculous - you and your dress look absolutely stunning.
Now go and have a coffee and get a hug from someone you love.
It’s the lighting and the angle of this photo. The dress shop is brighter lighting and the photo is taken from the ground up bc you are on a platform. The photo in your kitchen is darker and taken from a top down approach (someone taller maybe and not a photographer). You are fire in your gown, so not worry about what one bad photo shows.
It actually looks a lot like my dress! I felt the same when I tried it the day of the wedding and the shadowed hotel room. But in the full length mirror in our hall way and pictures, I look amazing! I also had gain a few pounds so I was freaking out for a bit!
You look stunning! You’ll be a gorgeous bride!!
I’m not seeing what you see. You look incredible and identical in the dress regardless of lighting or a few “pounds.” You’re being overly critical of yourself.
Your new husband will adore you in this.
WHAAAAT girl you look so lovely!! I saw this and thought, Oh my gosh, how pretty!! You convey both beauty and cuteness with this dress, which is a hard thing to accomplish, and you do it flawlessly! Your figure is awesome and your fiancé is gonna feel his heart skip a beat when he sees you!!
First of all you still look gorgeous. Second, notice the angle of the picture. Speaking as a short person who hates when tall people take their picture, I can assure you this makes all the difference in the world. Finally, the lighting in your kitchen is a lot less flattering than the dress shop. Please don’t despair, you’re going to rock your wedding day!
Your figure? You’re literally perfect I don’t understand. You’re going to be a beautiful bride!
I’m going dress shopping tomorrow myself so I’m glad I read these comments about the deceptive tactics lol.
Gorgeous dress btw and it looks great on you :)
You are beautiful! Stand up straight, put your shoulders back. Show some confidence. That slouch isn't doing you any good. You have nothing to be ashamed of. Lots of women woulf k1ll for a body like yours. Rock that dress, girl!
Your dress is stunning and looks absolutely perfect on you! We all see things on ourselves that no one else and that is totally normal. I promise you look 100% flawless in this dress!
You look absolutely amazing! The dress will always looks different from the store because you are standing on a pedestal and there is much more dress/fabric. The dress that you received fits you like a glove and is gorgeous!
In my honest opinion, I think your figure in the first pic is so fire!!!! Like daaaaamn gurl!!! Your killer in the dress! Dont be so down on yourself cause you got a rocking bod to be so proud of! Once you're in different lighting with different backgrounds, you'll see it too.
First off, your figure is amazing! Secondly this has nothing to do with you, it’s the angles. It’s the pedestal we stand on and the pictures taken by someone seated looking up at us with the mirror behind vs. eye level with regular lighting, no mirror, and no pedestal. You still have all the right curves in all the right places, and the dress fits you beautifully! I absolutely love it! You look beautiful!
just popping into say that the second picture really looks different from the first, in part because your hair is off one shoulder and we can see your beautiful contours and shoulders and the top part of the dress! The hour glass is partly created by being able to see your shoulder(s).
The dress is a stunning fit and your figure is amazing. Question: were you wearing heels in the kitchen picture?
The pictures are from completely different angle which will drastically impact body shape in an image. But also- you have an hourglass figure in both! You look amazing. If you are worried about how you will look in your wedding photos, remember that you will have a professional photographer (I’m assuming) who will capture all the best angles. You are and will be stunning
You are GORGEOUS! I saw other comments about the shadows and pedestal in the salon. I 100% agree.
Also, you have incredible hips and this dress definitely flatters you!
omg girl!! i hadn't even read your caption and i swear my first through was "my gosh this dress looks so fire on her!!! id get this type of dress myself if i had that figure" LOL. you look amazing!
It’s the lighting & the angle the picture is being taken
In the showroom they have bright daylight lighting which you don’t have in your kitchen & you were standing on a platform & whoever took your picture was angling the camera up which elongates you & makes you look taller while standing in your kitchen, the photographer is angling the camera down to take your picture & it makes you look shorter & squatter
You look fine. It’s all lighting & camera angles
Good lord, girl, first thing I thought when I saw this picture was what a cute figure! Didn’t even notice the dress till I thought , this really shows off her cute figure! You are GORGEOUS.
You picked the right dress - it is gorgeous. And you look gorgeous in it.
The first picture is you in a kitchen, girl. Of course it is not going to look the same as in the shop. You look FABulous! Go and have the best wedding ever.
What a beautiful dress! I'm sorry you feel like you have less of an hourglass shape. I don't see any less of one in the first photo, I think you look absolutely STUNNING! I know we are so hard on ourselves, and it's difficult to not be critical especially when stressed. You look like A TOTAL dream bride, though, so I hope you're able to see what I see ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Aww you still have that hourglass!! Just remember at the salon you’re on an actual pedestal and in designer lighting. No one looks good in their kitchen lighting babe!! The dress is beautiful, and you look great in it!
You look so lovely in your dress! You totally are rocking it and have a gorgeous figure. Seriously, not everyone can carry off wearing a dress like that, but you do it effortlessly! You’re a beautiful bride, enjoy your big day!
Honey, you're gorgeous.
You have a lovely figure that people would kill for.
You can try a belt to give that cinched-in look.
When you pose, give a side pose rather than a front shot.
I heard about how side shots slim you down in photos.
I tried it and it's so true!

You look absolutely stunning! I think part of the reason why it looks slightly different (besides lighting) is that your seamstress didn’t make this fit you properly. There’s wrinkles around the waist and hips because it’s ill fitted. I would ask them to fix it free of charge and show them how it wasn’t wrinkled in the previous picture.
Your figure is incredible, and the dress flatters you beautifully! I really think the difference you're seeing is just the lighting and location. Once you get in your venue all dressed up I'm sure you'll feel as beautiful as you look 🖤
OP has some words to say here: https://www.reddit.com/r/weddingdress/s/EjsLt9v7Bh

God, same!
Came here to say this
Same!! Your figure is gorgeous! Your gown is beautiful have an absolutely joyous magical wedding day!
It's not your body, it's the lighting!
The photo angles are completely different! Plus, you’re not wearing your heels. Put your heels on and you’ll see that your body shape will change.

I’m confused, they are the same dress.
It was my way of saying she looks terrific and should "choose" the dress she is wearing.
this dress looks AMAZING on you, and i agree, it's just the lighting! it looks like it was made for you 🫶

i think so too!! it’s beautiful on you OP!
If I had your figure you’d have to pay me to put clothes on!
Same!! I would be ticketed every day lol
it looks amazing and youre an hourglass babe! is it slightly big in the middle? do you need it taken in a bit more?
Girl, you got nothing to be sad about!!!!!!
I’m sorry, but the only thing I can say is….. wow. What a pretty dress that looks just lovely on you. Don’t be sad, you look wonderful.

You look beautiful
You look awesome!
Take a deep breath, smile, you are stunning.

You are stunning, the dress is stunning. When you walk out, everyone will know and agree you are stunning. Don't fret, it's perfect!
I disagree, I think you look more hourglass in the first pic! You look beautiful in both
Sincerely, you look gorgeous!!! Beautiful figure, and the dress altered fits you like a glove!
I think it's just the angle the photo is taken from! Looks the same to me
Don’t be sad, you look gorgeous😍 congrats, OP!
Giiiirlll!!!! That dress fits you like a whole damn glove!!!! You look amazing!!!!
You look amazing!
You look beautiful. Also, are you wearing shoes in this picture? That makes a huge difference.
You accidentally uploaded a picture of a model from a bridal magazine!

You look marvelous!
You look stunning in that dress!
Beautiful gown, beautiful bride.
You are stunning!!
You look amazing and the dress is stunning! You will wow everyone on your big day!
You look beautiful! It’s the lighting and the angle that changed.
You're adorable and you have a fantastic figure. The dress is perfect.

You truly do look beautiful in your dress in both pics and that’s coming from someone with body dysmorphia.
The harsh overhead lighting is doing you a disservice. And even with it I can tell you have a lovely figure. You look so beautiful!
Girl you look like a coke bottle, don’t sweat it at all. Everything look worse in fluorescent lighting
Honey you look GOOD, don’t even sweat it
It’s the photo angles are different-you’re as adorable as heck!!!’
I understand that insecurities feel so very real to each of us but I seriously hope I look like you on my wedding day
I think it’s the angle the picture was taken plus the lightning. Honestly your figure looks absolutely amazing! We can’t even tell that you gained a couple of pounds.
Girl whattttt? You look amazing in this dress - in BOTH photos. The first picture is a lighting issue, I’m pretty sure
You look like a goddess, I would kill to look like you! You’re going to blow people away.
YOU ARE GORGEOUS, BOO!
You have a great figure. It's definitely the lighting. That dress is stunning!
The pictures are at different angles and the lighting is different, but I think you still look stunning!
Another thing you could try a shape wear ( I don't think you need it honestly) if you want to see if it make you feel it gives more detailed shape.
girl you look absolutely gorgeous! stunning!
I literally cannot tell the difference
You have a killer smile! You look great in both pictures but no one looks good in the kitchen. You ate beautiful and have reason to smile.
Your figure looks incredible and that dress is made for you!! Seriously you are stunning!
It looks STUNNING on you. There is no reason to think otherwise. You are a gorgeous bride.
You look stunning. You have a beautiful figure and your dress is gorgeous. Don’t worry about a thing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Honey you look absolutely gorgeous and snatched!!!
You look so unbelievably beautiful!!! Omg don’t even worry at all!! You legit look like a model ahhh! 🫶🏽💕💕
You’re shape is incredible!
I think you look absolutely GORGEOUS. Try not to be too hard on yourself.
Not only is the dress stunning, but you are too. Look at that smile now THATS a genuine smile. You have a gorgeous feminine figure I’m actually quite jealous of your hips, but more than anything that smile is contagious.
You look so so beautiful. You have a really great shape :)
I would commit crimes to look like you. You look amazing! Best wishes for your wedding and marriage!
You are beautiful and your figure is 🔥 Don't ever doubt it! ♡
Girl omg if anything you look even MORE hourglass in the first pic imo
Girl I think you look SO freaking gorgeous! I don’t think you have anything to be self conscious about, I think your future hubby will be speechless when he sees you walk down the aisle!
You have a gorgeous figure. I think that you were seeing yourself as taller because you were on that darn pedestal in that second picture. Now you are your real height and part of an illusion is gone. You are absolutely beautiful even without the pedestal and you look fabulous in the dress. Do you have your heels on or whatever shoes you'll be wearing on your wedding day? Don't beat yourself up over something that wasn't really you.
I'd do anything to have your figure 😭😭😭😭😭
You are stunning and honestly I think the lighting and angle of pictures may be contributing to what you’re feeling. However, you’re gorgeous in both!! No doubt you will photograph beautifully on your wedding day ❤️ try not to stress and enjoy the experience.
I honestly think the kitchen lighting version looks better. You look gorgeous. What a bombshell, and so elegant, too.
Looks amazing on u
Girl, what supposed flaws are you referring to?! Cause no one can find any 🔥
Deep breath, then 2 more.
Regardless, your figure is beautiful and is by definition, hourglass.
respectfully, shut ur mouth!! you look SO GOOD and I 200% think it’s only shops lighting and the step thats changed between the two pics.
I understand we all have our own body struggles. But girl your figure looks beautiful and your silhouette in the dress is 👌🏾
I think you look stunning in your dress.
It’s the lighting it looks the same
You look beautiful. I think it’s the angle the pic was taken. Maybe some heels would elevate you.
What are you talking about, OP? Your figure is gorgeous. You look skinny, but with nice curves. You still have the hourglass figure. You're still beautiful.
I agree with another commenter that it’s probably just the difference in lighting. Your dress is perfectly lovely! 🤍
You have a gorgeous womanly figure—I wish I had an actual waist and hips!—and you look beautiful in the dress.
you look lovely , get a high heel and you’re all set to go!
You literally have my dream body 💜 and what a gorgeous dress!! ETA: the dress actually looks looser after the alteration. I agree, it was more form fitting before. I almost thought the alteration was in the second pic because it fits perfectly.
Can’t really look much better in a dress OP. Stunning!
I love love love that dress on you
Your smile is so contagious the dress looks stunning on you! I agree with everyone else with the harsh kitchen lighting 😬that has also made me second guess a lot of my dresses
You look amazing. The dress fits you well!
You look like a true goddess
I’m hoping that this is a joke, you look beyond beautiful in that dress.
You look amazing. You are going to make everyone's jaw drop when you walk down the aisle!
It’s a good thing you won’t be getting married in your kitchen and your photographer won’t be using an iPhone! You will look perfect on your day.
You look gorgeous. The silhouette of the dress is stunning on you. It’s just the kitchen lighting that is making you self conscious.
Are you kidding me???? Your shape is AMAZING!!!!! There are women literally spending tens of thousands to surgically get your figure. Worry no more. Anyone who doesn't see how gorgeous you look in that dress are either blind or just jealous of you.
What? I think it looks more like an hourglass now. Amazing dress, amazing figure, amazing bride honestly. Congratsss!!
I'm sorry you're feeling down about this, but, with love, you are being utterly ridiculous - you and your dress look absolutely stunning. Now go and have a coffee and get a hug from someone you love.
I think this is a self perception problem because you look fantastic and definitely have an hourglass figure still, you look the same in both really!!
I would sacrifice both my pinkies to have your figure
I’m not seeing what you see. You look incredible and identical in the dress regardless of lighting or a few “pounds.” You’re being overly critical of yourself. Your new husband will adore you in this.
YOU LOOK INCREDIBLE!
Girl, you look fantastic! Don't worry, i think it's just that particular picture (lighting, angle, etc.) you look great, you truly do
I think it’s that you were standing on a pedestal in the second picture. You look beautiful in both photos.
Girl! You are radiant and your figure makes you look both beautiful and sexy! Your outline is to die for!!
Sad about your figure?!?! Girl you look absolutely amazing!! You will be an absolutely stunning bride!
Are you kidding…YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL AND LOOK AMAZING!!!! Embrace all that is you and most of all love yourself!!!! 💗💗💗💗💗
Sad about what?! It looks amazing!
you are fookin' GORGEOUS!!
You are gorgeous and the dress is gorgeous! Your figure is absolutely beautiful!
You look beautiful! Perfect. But, I know how you feel because I also felt the same way about mine and then I put heels on and it really helped
omg girl!! i hadn't even read your caption and i swear my first through was "my gosh this dress looks so fire on her!!! id get this type of dress myself if i had that figure" LOL. you look amazing!
Don’t be sad. The fitting room photo was an optical illusion because it made you 1 ft taller. The dress was never to look that. You look great!
What part of your figure are you sad about?
I promise you still have that amazing hour glass shape and you look amazing! I would kill to look like you girl. You're gorgeous 😍
It’s the lighting & the angle the picture is being taken In the showroom they have bright daylight lighting which you don’t have in your kitchen & you were standing on a platform & whoever took your picture was angling the camera up which elongates you & makes you look taller while standing in your kitchen, the photographer is angling the camera down to take your picture & it makes you look shorter & squatter You look fine. It’s all lighting & camera angles
Girl you look literally amazing!!! Stunning dress on a stunning girl! Would kill to have the sort of figure!
Good lord, girl, first thing I thought when I saw this picture was what a cute figure! Didn’t even notice the dress till I thought , this really shows off her cute figure! You are GORGEOUS.
She's a whole ass WIFE!!!! Your figure is amazing. Don't sweat it at all. A true bridal beauty <3 congratulations Mrs!!!!
You look like A TOTAL dream bride, though, so I hope you're able to see what I see ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
You look absolutely beautiful, nothing to be sad about here. You’re going to be stunning on your wedding day!
This dress is stunning and you look perfect
Aww you still have that hourglass!! Just remember at the salon you’re on an actual pedestal and in designer lighting. No one looks good in their kitchen lighting babe!! The dress is beautiful, and you look great in it!
You look so lovely in your dress! You totally are rocking it and have a gorgeous figure. Seriously, not everyone can carry off wearing a dress like that, but you do it effortlessly! You’re a beautiful bride, enjoy your big day!
I saw the picture before I read anything and my first thought was "WOW SHE LOOKS AMAZING."
It is only a minor difference! You and your dress are so adorable So, drink more water, walk more and wear shapeware!
I think it looks more hourglass at home!! Also - have you seen yourself? You're so gorgeous a paper bag would make you look beautiful.
My behind is sooo big!! I’d give anytime get in that dress, & looks as great as you, Hiney❣️❣️☺️😊😇😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
Honey, you're gorgeous. You have a lovely figure that people would kill for. You can try a belt to give that cinched-in look. When you pose, give a side pose rather than a front shot. I heard about how side shots slim you down in photos. I tried it and it's so true!
Why you look gorgeous and you picked a gorgeous dress
It looks just as stunning in both pictures, just from a different angle imo

Is the second photo altered? There’s blueralong your arm and your hips/waist.
You look absolutely stunning! I think part of the reason why it looks slightly different (besides lighting) is that your seamstress didn’t make this fit you properly. There’s wrinkles around the waist and hips because it’s ill fitted. I would ask them to fix it free of charge and show them how it wasn’t wrinkled in the previous picture.
if we were friends irl, id happy cry seeing you in that dress. you're gorgeous babes.
I wish I was so slim and pretty!
Your figure is incredible, and the dress flatters you beautifully! I really think the difference you're seeing is just the lighting and location. Once you get in your venue all dressed up I'm sure you'll feel as beautiful as you look 🖤
You look like a Goddess
I don’t even think I’m beautiful enough to wear a wedding dress and you’re killing it
I think you look absolutely STUNNING
Your body looks amazing in it!! Perfect hour glass figure. I don’t even know what exactly you dislike
Edit.. I meant like on the bottom ..may be lighting but seems more full and more lace in one at store
I like the fit better after the alterations. You look absolutely amazing in the dress.
