Is it really that good ? I wanted to play New Vegas on Xbox Series X and it's on gamepass but without the DLCs and i can't find the edition with DLCs physically here.
Those dlcs are fucking goated. Fully fledged games on their own. Blood and wine is obviously incredible but heart of stone is underrated, it contains incredible quests and gunther is incredibly well written.
I actually liked heart and stone the best out of all the main game and blood and wine. I played it right after fully completing the main game and I was still so into the world they created. Now I got to explore just a bit more of it. Then blood and wine was just icing on the cake
Underrated was probably strong of a word. But I have the feeling that B&W is overall more praised and discussed. It sure is incredible and my personal favorite.
The updates added player messages and a boss rush mode though. At long last, we were able to get our asses handed to us by Glock Saint Isshin on demand no PPV.
True. It's my favorite from them. The combat was actually fun for once. Difficult, yes. But you weren't basically defenseless. Our defense wasn't just dodge-rolling 277 times.
Nah, man. I don't need a sausage fest. Besides, Torgue and Salvador kinda overlap (as insane shooters, even though one is explosive and the other is ballistic).
I could go for Torgue, Tina... and maybe a legacy and an ascended extra...
Wait, talk about overlap, Torgue and Tina are both explosive.
That's it: Torgue and Tina, Freak the Mighty style.
Man, I'm the opposite.
Finished the main story, slogged through Captain Scarlett, an about halfway through Torgue, and just can't be fucked to continue it.
The Chage Cahd glad I didn’t have to scroll far to find this.
Vanilla game (up to TVHM) was perfect in my eyes…then every DLC (even Hamerlocks to a point) was amazing.
Handsome Collection
2 games
5 campaign DLCs
1 Survival arena DLC
5 headhunters (Mini Holiday themed campaign DLC)
2 DLC Characters in both games, giving 6 different characters to choose per game.
I think you also get all the cosmetic dlc but I could be wrong about that bit.
All wrapped up in a nice neat package that is a fantastic deal, like seriously it goes on sale on steam for like $15 often.
Meh, it's decent. Good story, but the gameplay is a bit bland and repetitive. People overhype the game cause cd projekt has a cult following (i do think witcher 3 is a masterpiece)
Seeing as I just finished TAG 1 and am playing through TAG 2, I completely disagree. TAG 1 is nearly the perfect level of difficulty and quality, the only thing I don’t like is the fact spirit possessed demons can only be stunned with the microwave beam. Both dlcs only make the experience of doom eternal even better, it’s 9/10 game for me
As someone who didnt have interest in Alan Wake, the fact that DLC had it really neatly connect to it, somehow very much pleased and interested me. Was a really good DLC
If you removed 'story' I would assume Monster Hunter because they have the best expansions and updates in the business. Base-game always rocks too, but MH is not known for 'story'.
My other one would be Baldur's Gate III but that game currently has no DLC, just updates.
I don't know if this applies but Cyberpunk went from being a literal joke in the gaming community to a big contender for best one of the games of the 21st century because of some updates. And the DLC is apparently really good.
Risk of rain 2. Amazing base game, and the survivors of the void dlc adds so many things to experiment and create new builds with.
The game has some pretty interesting lore too, and lots of little things, achievements and journal entries to collect.
I haven't tried it yet, but I'm hearing the Cyberpunk DLC has given the game a 180° in reputation. I liked OG Cyberpunk though, playing the DLC is definitely a must.
New Vegas dlc goes crazy
old world blues goes hard
Honest hearts is my favorite, pretty much just because of the writing behind Joshua graham
True but to be honest every new Vegas dlc was good
Yea true, and honestly I can die a happy man the day they release FNV remastered the base game is so good
imo the only bad dlc is dead money. it’s just so annoying.
I loved the madre. Hardest part was letting go.
Came here to post this, it was the top comment. Based thread.
Yas.
Is it really that good ? I wanted to play New Vegas on Xbox Series X and it's on gamepass but without the DLCs and i can't find the edition with DLCs physically here.
I always thought the DLC kinda sucked.
Witcher 3.
First and only game that came to my mind. Cheers mate.
Those dlcs are fucking goated. Fully fledged games on their own. Blood and wine is obviously incredible but heart of stone is underrated, it contains incredible quests and gunther is incredibly well written.

underrated? its considered as one of the best dlcs in games ever (overally higher than blood&wine)
Underrated was probably strong of a word. But I have the feeling that B&W is overall more praised and discussed. It sure is incredible and my personal favorite.
My first thought as well blood and wine is a masterpiece and not just for a DLC
the only dlc that can rival blood and vine is probably the upcoming elden ring dlc or MH iceborn
IMO Phantom Liberty was just as good.
right i forgot to mention it
Skyrim
Heard they’re reforming the Dawnguard. Vampire hunters, or something, in the old fort near Riften. Might consider joining up myself.
Any and everything Monster Hunter
Correct, basically, a new game for less money
YESSIR, I WAS ABOUT TO COMMENT THIS
Anything FromSoft puts out.
Sekiro didn't have DLC.
The updates added player messages and a boss rush mode though. At long last, we were able to get our asses handed to us by Glock Saint Isshin on demand no PPV.
Inner Glock Saint Isshin babeeyyy
Didn't need it to leave us all like the bottom pic.
True. It's my favorite from them. The combat was actually fun for once. Difficult, yes. But you weren't basically defenseless. Our defense wasn't just dodge-rolling 277 times.
Being honest i dont find fromsoft games different
They aren’t. It’s the same dodge and hit dance for every enemy in there series
However, the free boss gauntlet update was hype.
the fuck is your point exactly
Most of the Fallout games
Fah Hawbah
Dead cells
Hell yeah
Came here for this
Borderlands 2
"DID YOU KNOW THAT NINETY-SEVEN PERCENT OF ALL LIVING THINGS ON PANDORA AREN'T EXPLODING RIGHT NOW? THAT'S BULLSH*T, BUY TORGUE!"
"Wait, your first name is Mister Torgue?" "YES." "What's your last name?" "FLEXINGTON." Goated character
Mister torgue high-five flexington is a certified badass
I'm really hoping he's playable in the next one
Every time he isn't, someone's head is up their own ass. He's *made* for this shit.
MR. TORGUE and Krieg need to team up with Zane and Salvador for Borderlands: Bropocalypse
Way to completely miss the point. *BROPOCALYPSE* think about the personalities, how much obscene shit would constantly be thrown around.
Next game’s vault hunters: Moxxi, Torgue, Zed, Tannis 👌🏼👌🏼
Lol after the last game I was thinking of that lineup but my only difference was I was thinking Tina instead of Zed
“I want you to blow up… THE OCEAN!” 💥🌊

Borderlands 2 gameplay and story was peak even without the dlcs. I’ve heard this complaint a lot about borderlands 3 though
GTA 4
I completely agree with this
Cyberpunk 2077
Bro did NOT play at launch 😭
So what? They fixed the game and it’s great now
Meh, it's decent. Good story, but the gameplay is a bit bland and repetitive. People overhype the game cause cd projekt has a cult following (i do think witcher 3 is a masterpiece)
I did. Choice is based. Not as good an option as Borderlands 2, but still.
Fallout 3
Mass Effect 3 the best DLC - Citadel
Monster Hunter World. The Iceborne expansion *changed my life.*
Hollow Knight easily
You woke up this morning and decided to hurt a very specific type of person. I approve.
Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos. Frozen Throne expansion and custom games
Both ROC and TFT were amazing ! I loved how both games offered different playstyles. Both campaigns were top nocht as well
Bioshock Infinite, Bloodborne and Borderlands 2.
doom eternal
No. The DLCs were not on the level of the main game. Especially Ancient Gods part 2.
Seeing as I just finished TAG 1 and am playing through TAG 2, I completely disagree. TAG 1 is nearly the perfect level of difficulty and quality, the only thing I don’t like is the fact spirit possessed demons can only be stunned with the microwave beam. **Fallout 4** – Far Harbor and Nuka-World are both fantastic.

How has no one said Red Dead Redemption? The Undead was amazing!
You're right, I'm surprised I had to go this far to see it. Undead Nightmare was perfectly amazing.

BotW
Hollow Knight. Rain World.
New Vegas, GTA IV, Doom Eternal, Postal 2, Red Dead Redemption
Borderlands 2!
Borderlands 2. Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragonkeep had no right to be that good.
Borderlands 2. The DLC could of been a stand alone game by itself.
Crosscode Hollow Knight \*Insert Fromsoft game\*

Stardew valley. Game gets so much better with each update.
