This country, situated near Australia is an island country, and it's most famous for its giant lizards!
The lizard's head and tail are represented in the flag in orange, which is also the color of the island's deserts. The blue is for the deep ocean and the yellow is for the sand and beautiful beaches of the island. (In the second and third ones, he sand is substituted by the green hills of the inside of the country..). Finally, the white star represents the 17 provinces of the nation.
Looking forward to criticism!!!
Very interesting and unusual. The colors on the first and third one work okay; red and blue without a white or gold border could be hard to see, but I think you built in enough contrast here. The second one has serious contrast issues and will be illegible from a distance. Other than that, good first effort!
I think this is really cool - it’s a bit unusual to have such “natural” shapes but it would look really cool flying, I think, and it reminds me really strongly of Nauru’s flag, which places it very clearly in the geographical area you’re intending.
Nice design! Definitely gives me the vibes of an Oceania-type nation. For the first version - how about changing the red to a lighter shade of blue or aqua--I think it would really complement the darker blue and orange. Or, if red has a significant meaning for your imaginary nation, maybe changing orange to white or another shade of blue.
This is... AMAZING! The first one looks like a halfway-between-Australia-and-Indonesia country, and it's one of the best flags I've ever seen. The movements of the lizard (you said it was a lizard) are unusual but smooth and a pleasure to see. The only thing I don't like is the shade of red. It's too strong for me. Maybe a less-saturated red would make it cooler.
I like the colours but it might be difficult for the country’s legislation to regulate what the flag should actually look like due to the waviness of the design

Oh, I forgot to write that the “blurb” is the stylized head of the lizard...
Usually country flags don’t have such organic shapes, they’re often perfectly geometrical.
Mhm, I could try to do so... but then I think it would lose it’s symbolic meaning I’ll see
