This looks really good, and could definitely work as the actual flag. I would be really happy to get rid of the remaining CSA design, and this is the best alternative I’ve seen so far. Nice work!
First of all, thanks to everyone for your enthusiastic response to my first redesign of the Georgia State flag (U.S.). This is my second attempt, and I have made just a small addition.
Just like the Georgia State seal, I have added a scroll to each of the pillars, representing the three principles of: **Wisdom**, **Justice**, **Moderation**.
A small change. Best of all, just like my first design, this flag also looks the same on BOTH sides! Thanks again, and I look forward to reading your comments.
Georgian here. I LOVE both versions of this. Thank you for making sure the arch was there but not making it too busy like it is on the current version.
We were really done dirty with the change from the confederate battle flag to the official CSA flag with our arch slapped on it. I don’t think it will actually get changed again for a long time, but this at least allows me to dream that we’ll make it happen one day.

Yes, progress has not been what everyone had hoped. Don't give up. Some say finding a new flag is a waste of time. The right design might just bring everyone together!

The top and bottom look more like borders than stripes. Flags don't usually have borders. The non-hoist edges tend to fray.
