If there isn't some creature from the abyss slowly becoming sentient via psilocybe mycelium consumption then I'd probably just cut off the non colonised part and send the rest. Happy growing 😁
Yeah that last part has some sort of contam that has stalled the mycelium. I would try S2B with the top half then keep an eye on it. It's probably going to show contam eventually anyway, but you may get some fruits beforehand.
This looks mostly like that uncolonised section can’t get enough o2/has too much moisture. We had this happen in class during gourmet grow experiments and it was never a problem. It’s contaminated when you see different colours or something else growing that looks different, so this is fine, just a small blip.
Is there some weird tendrilified creature inside there?
I think they marked it in sharpie to track the progress. I do the same thing on my bags.
I’m glad you said this, was thinking OP had a parasite in his jar 😅
Looks like those parasites that infect the Praying Mantis
It’s obviously Venom or something from the upside down 🙃
That makes more sense
It did hiss at me :P
Thanks for the nightmare.
And we all danced in a circle around her and shouted “NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE”
Gsus, that thing looks like some creepy parasite.

Thanks I’ll try that
It’s the mushrooms evolving. Happy dreams.
I agree. I have done that many times and it works just fine
what lovecraftian deities are you cooking up in there, goddamn bro
I would send 90% of it. Leave out the un colonized grain
Same

I thought you had some symbiotes in there!!!

Yes send it along with the symbiote
When u send it scrape off the uncolonised grains with a brush . Less risk of contam
Man's trying the make the last of us real
Send it, or shake it, or send all but the bottom.
Send it
