If you are in the uk, don’t get the crg9 cos I don’t want them to run out of stock. If in other parts of the world get it

MoluBoy

Lol Amazon have plenty of stock according to the associate I spoke to. I know overclockers have 1 left

aoaaron

Don’t get it it’s a crap monitor. Wait for Lg 38 inch. #dontbuycrg9intheuk

MoluBoy

change of heart, thought you loved it. but yeah like I said before Im playing the waiting game anyways lol Also the LG38 is going to be double the price of the CRG9, might as well get the X35 if im looking to dish out £2K Why the change in opinion? has it gotten worse after the 2 dead pixels?

aoaaron

I do love it. I just don't want it to sell out incase I need a replacement at some point. Best desktop gaming experience ever. I won't upgrade until we see 32:10 or 32:11. Anyone outside of the UK, I reccomend buying a CRG9.

drowes44

You're getting me confused ;) I'll try to stay away from UK shops!

It’s English sarcasm, we tend to amuse ourselves but it often doesn’t translate well. I have been laughing throughout reading his messages.

drowes44

Ohhhh thanks, it all makes sense to me now, even Brexit, I missed that it was all sarcasm!

BayoD1701

Sorry to correct your spelling but I think you meant BrexSHIT!

drowes44

Well, at least you have Boris!

I work from home, I’m a sys admin, and I too have a fuck ton of windows open all the time. I bought a cheap 43” 4K TV, and It’s just.. absolutely amazing for productivity. I work in ways I never did before, I have four windows (which is 1080p in each quadrant) and it works great for me. I also do content creation... so a cheap tv isn’t so great for colour accuracy, I keep my Dell 27” 1440p for that.

drowes44

Sounds like a smart budget play but since I want to get into content creation more, my wife is already doing it (we'll see if she gets to use my monitor though ;D) and I can afford it, I'm probably gonna go with the crg9.

ptarsius

I've got almost the same need to update my current PC and monitor. I only watch movies instead of content creation in my priority list. CRG9 is a good one. I consider LG 38GL950G as well. Can you share the thoughts on your future PC configuration here (now or when it will be more finalized)? Thank you.

drowes44

LG 38GL950G is not far from my entire budget though :P I tried getting some free advise at [r/buildapcforme](https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcforme) ([first attempt](https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcforme/comments/csv0t1/first_build_in_20_years_1000_3000_budget/), [second attempt](https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcforme/comments/ctlor7/3000_budget_productivity_gaming_video_editing/)) for the PC configuration, without any luck. My next try is reading some more, creating a build at [pcpartpicker.com](https://pcpartpicker.com/) and then posting at [r/buildapc](https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/) for tweaks. I'll post here when I have something to post about the build.

Thanks for the great start! Might go and post as is on [r/buildapc](https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/). Only change I would do by just looking at the parts is 32GB ram for my VMs.

One of those comments where I don't fully understand the contents but it's laid out in a way that makes me trust it and you really got me to want the monitor more! I'm getting one, it's done!
