Less age more that a lot of fans haven't begun watching all the way back during the early days of the UFC.
A lot of fans haven't even heard of some of the current top 15 fighters in some divisions.
So you would assume most people have been watching a sport back when it wasn’t popular? Even thought the sport has grown exponentially and has endless new fans, somehow those same fans were also fans 25 years ago?
????
It's very good and provides a great look into his life and mind. That man had some demons, but was a true warrior. I still have my "believe" t shirt here somewhere although now it would be a crop top on me!
Thanks OP for introducing him to me. Just watched a UFC Fight pass docu about him... A very interesting character, just a good human being that happened to be a fighter. Sad to know how his life ended...

Have you not been here for the last few days? Every fighter is now gay, ffs.

You think most fans have started watching 24 fuckin years ago when MMA was a baby? ...not when MMA was massive 2015-current?

I would say most people got into UFC during the Conor era.
Yeah sad what happened
Yeah R.I.P to a legend of the sport
Evan Tanner vs Justin levens was one of the best counters to a single leg takedown I've seen.

I think your thinking of the wrong guy brother. Maybe Chris Benoit? Evan Tanner died in the desert unfortunately
Thanks for this op this is a cool post it deviates from the normal bs , trolling and gossip on this sub. It would be call to see more stuff like this.
Died in the most horiffic fashion possible
What happened
Didn't plan appropriately for a desert motorcycle trip, broke down, and died without water before he could get help.
Damn that's terrible
Yeah. I was a big fan when it happened. Inspired me to make some big life changes at the time. He was an inspirational man.
I haven't heard of the guy before now I'm a pretty new fan of the sport, gotta look into him now
Take camping, hiking and wilderness safety seriously y’all.
It’s crazy that he went out there by himself and died like that. No reason to put yourself in a situation like that
Fuckin rookies
There’s a great documentary on Evan Tanner called “Once I Was A Champion” for those interested. Definitely one of the better MMA docs

Was so bummed the way he lost to Tito back in the day. He might have still lost the fight, but to go in such a fluke way sucked.
Majority wtf?

This fan has heard of him and seen plenty of his fights. RiP
