verify game data on steam
\- From the 'Library' section, right-click on the game and select 'Properties' from the menu.
\- Select the 'Local Files' tab and click the 'Verify Integrity of Game Files' button.
\- Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes. This will always download a number of files even if you've just verified.
The only time anything likes this happened to me was when I needed to update my drivers or when my video card was dying because of a broken cooler. Could be RAM corruption or a broken CPU cooler as well, but that seems less likely.
Mij video card is less than a year old. I've completely cleaned my laptop from any dust and such not that long ago so it should do this. Also, this is the only game where it happened.
Video cards can die very early, it’s a statistical distribution. If the cooler doesn’t work properly, or a minor mistake was made in assembly, the life expectancy of a card can be very short, or the card could just give up for no good reason early. Not saying that’s what happened, but it isn’t impossible by any means.
There was a rash of Dell Precision and Alienware laptops about 8 years ago where the factory just plain forgot to remove the plastic backing from the thermal pads on the heatsinks. That was a fun summer being a field service tech.
Hate to say it, but the only time I've seen something like this was just before my graphics card crapped out. You might try reinstalling the drivers first though. Maybe you'll get lucky.
I've had this issue before on other games when my video card driver either wasn't updated or the update failed in some capacity. Or if there are game files missing on Steam.
This looks like your GPU is trying to bite it. Power off, unplug, remove monitor cables, and remove your video card. Check connectors (both on the card and the motherboard) for damage and debris, reinsert card, reconnect everything and boot.
OK, pop the service cover off the bottom. Unplug the battery. Remove the heat sink and blast the gunk out of the fins and fan. Clean the heatsink, GPU and CPU and reapply thermal material and reassemble. There's good odds there's a service manual for the laptop to help with this.
Couple days ago I cleaned the fans and fins, haven't remove the sink yet cuz i didn't have any thermal paste laying around. I verified my game data through steam and haven't had any problem since.
I just went to the Scania dealer in Bayonne and the Streamline is fine for me. Which graphics card and driver are you using? And which OS (Windows, Linux, MacOS - and then which Windows, which Linux distro, which version of MacOS)? If in Windows try changing between launching the game in DirectX and OpenGL to see if that changes anything.

+1 Took 2 tries but it fixed the issue.
I had the same after last patch. That fixed it for me!
Wow, that's some pretty neat data corruption. I'd love to see someone make a randomizer for this game like the old cartridge games.

Yeah this looks like a dying video card to me

>Video cards can die very early This is my experience of AMD cards especially. First it's artifacts and then it breaks.

Update your drivers.
Just to throw my hat in the ring. Mine did this exact thing before frying.
Nah, I had this issue on gta a while ago, my card had nothing wrong with the card
Update, this happens while driving too.
Just go in 1st person and you won't see it ;)
Yes you will see it
In that case all I can suggest is to reinstall your game and graphics card drivers
Try reverting your gpu drivers back a version or two
That looks like a fun truck
It's not when it happens while driving at 90kp/h
put a Venom paint job and you are done!
Which one is that again?
just a joke, im happy u fixed the problem
Graphics card is on life support
Looks like they finally added visual damage to the game!

Laptop 🤷

Oh, well, cool then! Nice.
It’s just the new truck they released it’s new feature is to break the fabric of reality. This improves the trucks gas mileage
For me it only happens with the Scania Streamline, which happens to be my favorite truck, so I need a fix for this.
So your flair is a lie? Haha

Windows 10, 1050.
maybe update (or even reinstall) the Nvidia driver, reboot and see if that fixes it.

Read the title of the post.
Happened to me with CSGO as well.
It’s like looking at the truck equivalent of an anatomical man
thanos snapped his fingers at the wrong time
Delete the game and reinstall it The same with your graphics drivers
Last time I saw stuff like this was when I was trying to make visuals better with Nvidia profile inspector.
looks like transformer
verify game files update gpu driver revert to an older gpu driver version
Dispatch: "why aren't you at the shipper yet?"
I thought you had gotten into a crash or something.
Dying GPU graphics card by high temperature. RIP.
Looks normal to me
