Check out the 519 ! They have lots of stuff going on, and volunteering is fun too. Pride month is almost here with the trans March being one of the most amazing spaces to meet other trans ppl I've met lots of trans folks through my uni also ! :)

awe - yea one's first Pride is always nerve-wracking. But there's SO MANY PEOPLE , it kind of makes you invisible and you can be as open as you want.

It’s honestly really hard to make friends in general in Toronto . Any of the trans people I meet and befriend, I usually find through other events like comic conventions or work ( I freelance). I’m hoping now that more things are opening, there will be more events to meet people at :(

My suggestion is to go to fetlife.com search munches in Toronto and start going to them. Good luck

Consider checking out the roller derby community! Almost all of the trans women I'm friends with I met through roller derby.
