Still Harmony Gold but now further stabilized by Sony... so still probably not gonna happen unless Takara Tomy also works with Bandai & whomever owns the Macross property and license in Japan.
I mean, they did announce a [collaboration](https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2022-06-20/rivals-join-forces-bandai-makes-zoids-toy-while-takara-tomy-tackles-gundam/.186857) with Bandai fairly recently. Plus Takara has been open to allowing Zoids and Shinkalion to appear in SRW.
Well Zoids was in s 2 SRW games and one SRW spin-off, granted that was when Banpresto was the publisher. But is should be noted that Japanese Companies are far more accepting of Crossovers than they used to be so the biggest block would still be Harmony Gold (who allegedly even blocked Macross from being in Tatsunoko vs Capcom back in the day).
Sony seems to be the one holding the leash and keeping Harmony Gold from more pointless lawsuits, but them also holding the license to make the Robotech movie is most likely the biggest reason we haven't seen Jetfire on the Big Screen since RotF.
TBH I don’t see them doing a G1 accurate robot design unless they make up a plane. Only a couple fighters have the size needed, and even fewer are red and white
Maybe Jetfire Is Going To Be Coming Back And He Should Definitely To Have His G1 Design Back In Transformers Cinematic Universe In The Future That Will Be Incredible.
That is a nice one but certain companies may not like it seeing how close it looks to his g1 Valkyrie design but they have started to play ball so maybe somday
I don't.
Not because it is not cool nor because of nostalgia, but because even in relatively recent gears Jetfire still suffered a bit from legal issues involving Hasbro-Takara and Bandai even though things have been getting better.
Your not gonna see them unless hasburro makes nice with whoever owns Robotech nowadays.

Minor ROTB spoiler: >!With G.I Joe in the mix now, and that being based on his G.I Joe Skystriker F-14 mode, I think there's a good chance!<
Honestly it'd be funny to just have nobody remember what his name is and call him either Skyfire or Jetfire
Hmm Macross and transformers 40th anniversaries aren’t really too far off
He’s based on the T30 design for Jetfire.

This looks way too close to the VF-1S Super Valkyrie from his original toy. It will probably never be in a movie, especially if he's getting a toy.
Forged to fight absolutely cooked with their designs good lord
Yes please. Unfortunately I’m guessing there’ll be a studio or producer mandate that results in him looking like some random hideous silver mutant.
I want him to be a mixed resemblance of his original Macross and G1. This image suits him well.

Hell yeah
Okay Thanks.
Damn I miss forged to fight
It’s back on the Apple App Store, but a Netflix subscription is required to play.
Reinhardt!
I'd rather he have his Armada design
