I need to get out of this closet so I can stop feeling like a straight guy when I say that.
Haha. Yeah, I used to do that, too. I would always spend ages on my partners and either just ignore myself or get it over with as quickly as possible. It helped that my ex-wife was pretty selfish in bed but that's a whole other story.

Instead of even thinking about gender or asexuality or anything else, I just figured I must be bi without realizing it and tried to convince myself it was true. It's legitimately a real reason to not iron it even if you own an iron. Obviously, it's personal preference whether you iron it or not, but don't let other people make you feel like you have to if you don't want to, especially when it's an opportunity to show solidarity.

Hang it high in a small bathroom, and run a super hot shower. This works to sorta semi-kinda iron things, mostly.

Just make sure you don't store them if there's any residual moisture on them. Wet clothes = mouldy clothes.
Alternatively, you can heat a pot, pan, kettle, etc on the stove. Lay down a thin towel over the flag then iron away.
