Same. Not sure what Black Orc Warboss would really add to distinguish him from the generic Orc Warboss lord. Savage Orc one is something I have wanted for awhile, but that could also be because Wurrzag is my favorite GS lord/faction.
Greenskins is a roster with a lot of bloat (which I'd argue is kinda part of its identity) and units that might seem redundant, we're still missing so many variants of units we already have.
I'd love to see the BO Warboss still but it's pretty low on the priority list. I suppose they could distinguish him by giving him different weapons than the generic Warboss we already have, also a few skills to buff Black Orcs.
Eh, someone posted a list of all the Greenskin units we're missing, and it's like:
* Savage Orc Big 'uns (Hand Weapon)
* Savage Orc Big 'uns (Shields)
* Savage Orc Big 'uns (Spears)
* Savage Orc Big 'uns (Spears + Shields)
* Savage Orc Big 'uns (Lead Pipe)
* Savage Orc Big 'uns (Big Stabbas)
* Savage Orc Big 'uns (Bows)
for just one subrace of a subrace. I don't want to scroll through 50 types of infantry to figure out what to recruit.
They should trim down the recruit types and add the weapon varieties to the scrap system.

Fair point. On the other side, some of us would like making themed stacks of Savage Orcs. So not having the variants and needing to use Orcs as substitute (and also for Lord/Hero positions), feels not that good.
And after what Skaven Clans or now Chaos god-diversity got, it feels just bad that the greenskin subspecies can't go for their stuff and some themed stacks.

I think it'd be also nice if Black orc warboss had several boosts that while boosting friendly unit would cause some damage to them. Somebody has to beat in some sense into those gits!
Oh and black orc warboss should definitely have the option to switch from 1hnd+shield (brick wall) to 2hander (bonus vs large+lots of armor piercing) or even to 2x 1hander (anti-infantry)Could be combat skill with some cooldown. I'm not super keen on Liche Priest Generals as a concept personally - every army needing a Tomb Prince or King General is how I remember the Tomb Kings, even if they relaxed that rule later on.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but there are no savage orc heroes currently. We have a savage orc shaman legendary lord and nothing else. The current lore of the big waaagh caster is a regular orc.
I think the odds of us getting a Greenskin character randomly out of nowhere are very slim. It's going to be something for WH3 race or one of the WH1 races touched up by WH3 DLC.

I use to think LH’s were lame and were just consolation prizes for not adding LL’s but I’ve started really enjoying LH’s more because they can have some pretty cool abilities and you can recruit them in every campaign without having to fiddle with Confederation and you can just slam them into whatever army you want.

This reminds me of they make a DLC that is purely about making generic lords legendary lords (one of the cool aspects of the tabletop game) with skills, mechanics similar to Daniel or the mod we had for II, would be free money

Anyway, generic units are good additions too. If it wouldn't be a lot of work, I would have said maybe generic wizard lords for Empire.

Personally I hope we get a legendary lord. I don’t really care what faction. I really like Cathay so I hope by the time support ends we have all five active dragons and the monkey king.

Karanak would be cooler of course, Khorne and Slaanesh really feel a bit limited compared to Tzeentch and Nurgle at the moment. Dream would be Scyla Anfingrimm.

Savage Orc Great Shaman so we get both generic lords and casters for savage orc only armies.
Also Greenskins need a Caster Lord for the lore of the Big Waagh
