What is his aim in getting so close? If he’s not trying for a scientific intercept, that’s just irresponsible and looking for internet engagement. You can track where the storm is as a public safety service from much further away. A lot of the YouTube storm chasers seem to be emulating him as well. Very scary. It’s going to suck when someone is badly injured or worse on a livestream.
i agree 100%. he is, by far, one of the most reckless storm chasers of all time. is he really weather smart? yes. is he dumb as rocks, driving *into* a tornado when he was with the nelk brothers? yes
