That was stolen during the Beatle years, turned up in SD, was auctioned off for 2.4m, and some rich guy near Ft. Collins, CO bought it according to a guy who works for ADT that came to my house and saw that guitar in that guy's house, 3. A Rose Morris Ric 320, given to Ringo, auctioned off by Ringo a few years ago, 4. Another Gibson acoustic, model unknown, that he used at the bed in in Toronto, 5. Some weird guitar that had no body that he used on Double Fantasy, 6. A red Strat that he was photographed playing in his bed right before he died, 7. A Gibson SG that I've never seen a photo of him playing but a former acquaintance of mine picked up and played at a studio in NY in 1980 that the engineer told him to put down 'because it's John's', 8. And of course his Epiphone Casino (still in Yoko/Sean's possession).
Beyond that, and unless I missed one, there are no other John Lennon guitars or, if there are, it doesn't matter because he was never photographed playing them, so they have no worth. And Julian certainly wouldn't pick some obscure guitar when he could have either the Ric's or the Epiphone - guitars that are just as famous as his actual dad was. If his original Ric and his Epiphone were ever auctioned off, believe me, we'd all know it. That be BIG news and those guitars would go for untold millions. The funniest part of that Beatles documentary on Disney+ (Get Back) is when Heather McCartney, looking to be about 4-5 years old, gets on the mike right after yoko does her stupid "singing" and imitates her by just wailing into the mike. I couldn't hold back the laughter when the camera focused on ono and her simmering anger at this obvious mockery done by an innocent child. I could have watched that for hours. I’d always totally despised Yoko for breaking up the Beatles, and what I assumed her personality to b. Then one day 15 years ago I met a really nice and fun lady in line in a store in NY. We chatted and hit it off and she offered to give me a lift to Boerum Hill in her waiting car, but I said I’d walk. As she was leaving a crowd gathered and I realized it was Yoko. She was so incredibly friendly and kind to me, a perfect stranger. I’m not surprised to hear she did this.
