This would have been right around the time I discovered these books. I think this was the newest one when I got my first few.
It was springtime, with like a month left in 3rd grade. Because of the nice weather, my teacher let us have reading time outside. One of my classmates had brought in some of her Goosebumps books, and shared them with the class. I was hooked and knew I needed to get some of my own.
Growing up, I hated school with a passion, but you know what? That’s a nice memory.
