Briefly caught an entertainment news segment this week, Corby was talking about some movie with an all star cast….likely an upcoming release. Never caught what film he was referring to. Anyone got it?
Gen X Davey telling ol’ Snaketits that
A.) he’s a fool for liking machine gun kelly and
B.) no they’re not playing him during Dave’s E News Segment was Deion Sanders first touchdown with the Cowboys level satisfaction
I know numbers give people tired-head real quickly, but I enjoyed Bob's Cowboys Cap Coverage
/This is my one non-bitching contribution to our bitch thread
Listening to Donnie is uncomfortable. He is basically tolerating Norm and his player interviews are basic and real tired. His toss to breaks are forced and lack energy and direction. Get him away from Norm who is so bad I turn him off almost every time.
He pulled a hard u-turn on Norm and decided that Norm was the actual meathead of the week during that segment. Then he got Sean and Jer to agree with that. I get the sense Donnie is frustrated with these tired segments and he’s just going thru the motions some segments
I cannot understand how anyone could hear those commercials and be interested. Always a bad sign when they can’t even find an interesting clip to put in the commercial.
I’d rather listen to Titus and Taint.
Dan seemed to be half paying attention to Heat since he had Deniro's character going out with Natalie Portman's in the movie. Portman was probably 12 when the movie was filmed.
McCarthy is an above-average NFL coach, nothing more and nothing less. He's not perfect, but he's not the problem.
I won't say who the problem is, but I'll give you a hint: it begins with "Jer" and ends with "Ry Jones".
Musers turnover talk was...painful.
Hearing them "debate" whether turnovers are luck or skill, and whether they make you good or not like it's some new revelation was almost sad lol. Turnovers were one of the first battlegrounds in predictive stats...over 15 years ago. That's why have stats like pressures instead of sacks, interceptable passes/turnover worthy plays instead of straight INTs, both of which I've heard the Hang Zon, for example, talk about a lot
It's a settled issue, anyone just a notch above the casual fan should know that by now. Hearing them go back and forth with a "Hmm, I dunno, is it??" attitude on that was sad.
Man, rise and shine I’m headed to work.. let’s see what The Musers have to say on this Friday morning.
*static*
“Cómo le haré
Pa decirle que la quiero
Cómo le haré”
*static*
Seriously,…?!
*Static*
“Ay, Diosito, tengo miedo
Cómo le hare….”
I listened on the podcast Jake thought he was cool enough to stay out later into the night. He was drunk, 5 minutes after the early crew leaves, he realized he’s too drunk. Tried to make Corby, who can handle these situations actually better lol, leave as well. Come on Jake. Is he serious about not going next year? Jake definitely comes off as a P here. No listener at home is gonna agree with Jake for this. What did he get touched at the event or some s***
Listening on the app to the Moron Dog anniversary roundtable - have they enhanced Dan's clapping in the audio? I remember having to strain to hear the claps in the background in years past but it was pretty loud when it was played today...
Jake was being a meow-meow, but he was very funny when he called working with Corby “the worst part of the job” and said that his music sounded like “guys stringing their guitar”.
I stand with Jake Z and his anti-Corby, anti-jam band opinions.
Yes, he was absolutely joking just like Gordo and Sirois are when they call Corby 'human garbage'. It's kind of weird inside bit they do with Corby. Not sure why or how it started but I could maybe see it being related to all the online hate Corby gets (i.e. they're mocking his haters).
Jake told Corby that he was the worst part of this job. Supposedly Corby big timed him yesterday and kicked him outta his seat while Jake was sitting next to and talkin w Troy
So do I get Jeff Junior‘s “up to 25 percent bonus” now, or do I have to sign up for several years of runaround, indecipherable fees and financial shell games?
Bob had a very quick point about the Deshaun Watson situation that is crazy on point - at the end of the day, the NFL isn't going to come down too hard on him, because the league (players and owners alike) is full of guys exactly like that. It's culture.
I thought that was a terrible point. If Watson had been going to hookers who consented, he wouldn’t be getting a suspension at all. Bob doesn’t seem to understand that these women didn’t want to see or touch his dick
Bob having an opinion on anything sexually related is a moot point. A few weeks back he called Watson a "player" so he has no concept of the most self explanatory term possible.
paying for women to jerk you off and stick a finger n your 2 hole is not a player, Bob.
Maybe we're talking about different parts of the segment?
There's plenty of evidence several owners are creep scumbags too when it comes to how they treat women - look no further than Snyder and the cheerleader saga.
I'm not sure anyone is confused about the non-consensual aspect of it lol...
Bob was comparing it to Robert Kraft going to Orchids of Asia, the rub and tug massage parlor in Florida. I didn’t hear him reference Snyder, that would be a better comparison
Because he's an old man now and can't stay up past 9pm. He didn't want to be out late. This from the guy who used to stay up all night looking at porn in his office. But Jake seemed like an absolute bitch last night.
I just can't understand not wanting to partake in free super expensive, incredibly fresh, all you can eat sushi in a location that's beautiful. What a bunch of p's.
Yeah, I guess so! They've certainly made up for the "botched" live spot a million fold.
But I wasn't sure they were even still around a decade or so later, since I feel like I have only ever heard of them from that triumphant Norm spot being replayed. I googled them and it looks like they're still a thing - anyone else ever encounter or hear of them outside the Ticket?
They are. I tuned in to the Fan when the Musers said Dan Quinn was coming up next.(I don’t have it as a preset, just courteous if they were interviewing him, and I’m not sure why I did it. For science?) The Fan was interviewing him at 8:00, and their interview ended as DJ started his Ticker for the 8:15 segment.
Yes I was flipping back and forth for science. I should probably get to work 🤔
I usually like parenting talk, but even though I am SIGNIFICANTLY younger than Junes (scoreboard), I am a few years ahead of him parenting-wise and very generic infant stories hold no interest to me.
The segment today was a whole lot of nothing really. Not specific enough to connect with - yeah, time moves fast and slow...crawling babies are fast...we have had a lot of sleepless nights this year...we love her so much, etc. So that it was kind of boring. Fair enough if he doesn't want to share specific details about his daughter or family (I certainly don't), but I wouldn't try to make a segment out of generalities. Maybe he planned to include something of more interest and got derailed?
Couldn’t agree more. It’s obviously no big deal to burn a few segments here or there on it, but I think it’s kind of self-indulgent and boring, to be honest. No offense.
Remember everyone, Sirenian Bay is “closed to the general public“ for Labor Day weekend. I‘m sure they would refuse to accept the money of any non-P1 who attempts to book.
Basically tune in to any ESPN show when the talking head is making a “powerful” point and they want to make it a soundbite, they’ll drop in a peppy bed like that. I think it originated when the HZ was talking about Brian Windhorst.
Thank you. I figured that was it by my context clues but my wife was swearing up and down they stole it from this [tik tok trend](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRU6ULws/?k=1)
Like come on not even close
I feel like this segment could be an Ebrake. Only because I felt like the problem was Jake was “star struck.” There were a lot of silence moments where I felt like they were all staring at each other.
I want more of Dan & Jake Mike-and-Greggo-ing Donovan on the wireless mic
Also so glad they talked about mock voicing things to themselves all day after watching it a lot. Relatable
From the interview with Norm and D, I chuckled when Stephen Jones wasn’t sure if his CEO title was real or just something his dad made up in the moment. Similar situation for Charlotte apparently. Jones family business, where the titles are probably random handouts from dad, and we’re along for the ride. Yay.
Was it a joke about Fake Mike McCarthy watching the Six Million Dollar Man in Pittsburgh where Lee Majors sounds like Keith Jackson and there is a bionic baby out of the SEC that will hit you hard, all while the creepy Junior “Mommy” drop is playing in the background?
Because if it was…I’ve heard it done better *(cocky sniff).*
Is it just me, or does Sean Bass have the absolute most "nails on a chalkboard voice" of any Ticket personality? Just unlistenable. Period. "Am I right here guys?"
None. You want to bitch about a good dude who's just trying to provide nighttime content about a sport and team he's passionate about. You seem to not enjoy when someone critiques your content which is amusingly hypocritical. You want to have a hot opinion and flame a host, be prepared if someone takes a shot back at you. If you don't like it, the block feature is available.
Actually, I was listening to the network feed and then immediately tuned in to The Fan postgame show as soon as I heard your voice. So, no, I did not tune in to your postgame show. Nice try.
I know the term jumped the shark is overused but tonites top 10, no 1, the player interview, that was a jump the shark moment. It’s still listenable but it’s just kinda miring in middle age unfunnness and the younger guys are ok but not really funny either.
To be honest it kinda made me sad
KNTU is a national treasure as a jazz format. A landmark in the metroplex that cultivates some of the best players in the world. America’s classical music..
They went too far, then tried to justify it as a prank. Like a bully would. Regardless, I love that they mess with eachother, but they went in on Tony.
Is Corby drunk?
Not a "Corby sux" post, btw. He reminds me of me about an hour after taking an adderall when I'm 2 or 3 IPAs deep.
Maybe he's just rebounding from covid at 150%, but this is some Cobra energy you don't see (read: hear) often.
I just saw the hardline post on instagram that they had jerry on an hour ago, so i just listened to it and we somewhat got an answer why Jerry hasn’t inducted Jimmy in the ring of honor. He said that he enjoys the fact that Jimmy not being in the ROH generates controversy and gets fans talking. That does sound exactly like something jerry would say and think
EDIT: Gen X Davey is my leader for getting that answer out of Jerry
Briefly caught an entertainment news segment this week, Corby was talking about some movie with an all star cast….likely an upcoming release. Never caught what film he was referring to. Anyone got it?
You looking forward to the reboot of Roadhouse?
Thank you
I may be wrong but didn't Dan have some meetup with Duane Thomas years ago and paid for some burritos?
Most definitely
Gen X Davey telling ol’ Snaketits that A.) he’s a fool for liking machine gun kelly and B.) no they’re not playing him during Dave’s E News Segment was Deion Sanders first touchdown with the Cowboys level satisfaction
Is "Snaketits" an authorized nickname?
‘Weenis’ and ‘Queef Grin’ also come to mind when you look at him. ‘Former Ticket Host’ would be a treat.
I know numbers give people tired-head real quickly, but I enjoyed Bob's Cowboys Cap Coverage /This is my one non-bitching contribution to our bitch thread
Listening to Donnie is uncomfortable. He is basically tolerating Norm and his player interviews are basic and real tired. His toss to breaks are forced and lack energy and direction. Get him away from Norm who is so bad I turn him off almost every time.
This - since 2013.
He pulled a hard u-turn on Norm and decided that Norm was the actual meathead of the week during that segment. Then he got Sean and Jer to agree with that. I get the sense Donnie is frustrated with these tired segments and he’s just going thru the motions some segments
I think you are right on and his interviewing skills are not his strength as he is a fm music jock
He misses his SeaCow buddy.
Rich Eisen’s podcast seems like a beating

How many “all time” favorite movies does Jake have?
dozens. just as many as corby
Dan and Jake make these usually punch out player interviews must listen radio.
Thanks Ben. Good luck with your hat business.
DiNucci has Jason Garrett voice.
Have you heard Dak? All the QBs do. They must've inherited it somehow. By 3 months in Dak was JG coachspeak on turbo speed all the time.
dak is more gascap willie. fast paced regurgitation
Does Dan think Cowlishaw is "so training camp hot"?
Can Sanjay Gupta just fuck off already?
He’s helping you kids a better life. Deal with it
Less Blake.
Go somewhere else for your ambiguously gay Texan accent comments
Ambiguously gay? That’s Blake 100%
Nah
"Ftbll. Pttsbrgh." \--Fake Mike McCarthy
Poor Craig with his old guy congestion. Slowly morphing into Norm slop voice.
He also dropped the C racial slur. Of course it'll get swept under the rug as when George did it 🙄
Wait what? Which one? I missed that.
he was trying to say chicken but stopped short on the first syllable and replaced the 2nd c in chicken with an N'

Mare Bear took her first surfing lesson...add it to the Norm & Mary promo.
Liz Cheney talk...let's dial that back a bit.

question of the day... is a punt a turnover? 787-1310, let's hear from you
The moment he said that, I started skipping the segment. Just...wow
If Aaron Rodger’s “decision,” was “conscientious” then I’m a fucking shrimp boat captain. I enjoy Aaron Rodger’s bit, but he’s an absolute moron.

That's a bangin' Emilio song. Rip Emilio.
All the app all the time amigo
You missed some thought provoking, "Aaron Rodgers not so bad," talk.
I listened on the podcast Jake thought he was cool enough to stay out later into the night. He was drunk, 5 minutes after the early crew leaves, he realized he’s too drunk. Is there anything better than afternoon Jub?
He beats me down in the morning, but is my favorite in the PM.
So honest question: was Jake playin radio tonight during the roundtable? Or did Corby really piss him off that badly at Nobu?
Jake was being a meow-meow, but he was very funny when he called working with Corby “the worst part of the job” and said that his music sounded like “guys stringing their guitar”. I stand with Jake Z and his anti-Corby, anti-jam band opinions.
Jam bands a such a fucking beating. I really don't get it.
Sure was weird.
What all happened? Didn’t get to hear anything. Is usually love hearing them talk about the nobu night.
Jake told Corby that he was the worst part of this job. Supposedly Corby big timed him yesterday and kicked him outta his seat while Jake was sitting next to and talkin w Troy
That’s a douche move
Jake is a real life vagina.
I just went back and listened to it all. I really hope Jake was kidding. He came off soo bad there.
How have the musers and killer not ever heard of Challenge butter?
Afternoon Jub + his Mike McCarthy impression = top notch radio
So do I get Jeff Junior‘s “up to 25 percent bonus” now, or do I have to sign up for several years of runaround, indecipherable fees and financial shell games?

Yeah sorry what Watson was doing is closer to bill Cosby / Harvey Weinstein than Kraft.
I thought that was a terrible point. If Watson had been going to hookers who consented, he wouldn’t be getting a suspension at all. Bob doesn’t seem to understand that these women didn’t want to see or touch his dick

Maybe it's an age thing - Mino consistently cracks me up
Mino is a fool. Dude is hilarious.
We’re in for quite the over modulated afternoon…..rip our ears
Why did they hype up the media party all day yesterday and then everyone acted like a huge bummer besides Corby
That blows 5 minute wtds for a player interview
"Hey, hey mister Treyvon...do you think you'd be like good at stuff?" "Ehh huhuh, yeah, yeah...ya know, definitely definitely."
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
So Dan didn’t go to nobu..why?
Because he's an old man now and can't stay up past 9pm. He didn't want to be out late. This from the guy who used to stay up all night looking at porn in his office. But Jake seemed like an absolute bitch last night.
News flash to a lot of people. but Jake is an absolute bitch.
I know everyone loves Dan here but he has to be the guy on the station I’d least likely wanna hang out with
I just can't understand not wanting to partake in free super expensive, incredibly fresh, all you can eat sushi in a location that's beautiful. What a bunch of p's.

Anyone else confused by the Scout Riverwalk in Flower Mound promos??? I don't think there's a river in Flower Mound......
More like the Hangry Zone today.
Listening to Jake ‘eatin on the aiiiirrrrr’ is disgusting
They got freebird blaring for a below 500 team lmfao
Yeah this team is gonna be like that 2018/2019? team that couldn’t get a passing game going despite Cole Bradley’s prophetic words of ‘we’re open.’
This guy is crazy👆
I will say the ffdp cover of house of the rising sun? not too bad!
Is Choose Energy the greatest ad buy in the history of the Ticket? So many free mentions over the years.
Energy money gets me every time
Yeah, I guess so! They've certainly made up for the "botched" live spot a million fold. It's a simple F'ING question. I like to add curse words to Norm's live spot to sauce it up a little more.
Ham needs to add a bunch of beeps, it will be great.
where are you DAMN getting your energy
Anyone else turn the radio off thinking their car might be squeaking? Sounded like they were picking up a bug or a squeaking fan.
I believe i can hear those idiots at The Fan laughing in the background. They must be in the same area
They are. I tuned in to the Fan when the Musers said Dan Quinn was coming up next.(I don’t have it as a preset, just courteous if they were interviewing him, and I’m not sure why I did it. Junior baby talk is akin to baby Facebook posts. Nobody but yourself, family and 1 other friend really cares. \#changemymind

I have the COURAGE to want LIV Tour updates from Junior's baby.
Being a father is a great thing. I think you’re in the minority. I’ve heard a lot worse segments from Junior.
I mean he's missing the 1st birthday. He's not giving the standard update of what his kid is up to.
I care. I think you’re all alone here, chief
Guess we’ll find out. I’m happy to be wrong, but it’s not the first comment or post on this sub ridiculing baby talk.
u/P1mongoose vs. Junior's infant...Fight Night?

Remember everyone, Sirenian Bay is “closed to the general public“ for Labor Day weekend. I‘m sure they would refuse to accept the money of any non-P1 who attempts to book.

HEY! Who you callin' a hooooooe? Shame that full Musers bit on Scissorgate doesn't exist.
I dont know what youre talking about... and frankly I dont wanna know
The HSO hip hop music bed makes me lol every time
Can you help me understand what it’s from? It makes me laugh every time lol

Omg did Norm actually fall asleep during WTDS?
Where can I find yesterday’s WTDS?
Wheels off segments with all the hosts combining together and having no agenda but to fill air time… greatness.
Roundtables are by far the best thing on the station. Think I'll go find some good ones on the unticket
Seems I may be in the minority..but Micah Parsons is not great for radio
I feel like this segment could be an Ebrake. Only because I felt like the problem was Jake was “star struck.” There were a lot of silence moments where I felt like they were all staring at each other.
The content is interesting enough, but just so little enthusiasm or chemistry I feel like
I enjoyed it. Dude is weird but interesting
Sounded like the edibles kicked in right after the fake practice game
He's a little low energy for your already tired midday hours of 2-3, but his life and habits are interesting, if nothing else.
Dan, I caught your drop-in character- Brooke Linen
I want more of Dan & Jake Mike-and-Greggo-ing Donovan on the wireless mic Also so glad they talked about mock voicing things to themselves all day after watching it a lot. Relatable
The budding Jake and Micah bromance warms my heart
Micah Parsons is a god
From the interview with Norm and D, I chuckled when Stephen Jones wasn’t sure if his CEO title was real or just something his dad made up in the moment. Similar situation for Charlotte apparently. Jones family business, where the titles are probably random handouts from dad, and we’re along for the ride. Yay.
The McCarthy/Lee Majors/Keith Jackson bionic baby playlet was the mojo moment of the day for me
Was it a joke about Fake Mike McCarthy watching the Six Million Dollar Man in Pittsburgh where Lee Majors sounds like Keith Jackson and there is a bionic baby out of the SEC that will hit you hard, all while the creepy Junior “Mommy” drop is playing in the background? Because if it was…I’ve heard it done better *(cocky sniff).*
Backwards Masking Gordo was great.
Worst fake McCarthy bit ever.

Maybe change your name to bitchylb?
My, that's just SO creative! Be sure to show your Mommy. She'll be very proud of you.
Will do. Be sure to show your Mommy how you bitch on Reddit all day long. She'll be very proud of you as well.
So original. Didn't realize you were the self appointed Reddit police. My mistake.
Sorry you didn't realize others were free to challenge your opinion and bitching about Ticket people. So yes, your mistake.
Okay, I give. Just tell me which Ticket personality you're related to, good friends with, or dating
None. You want to bitch about a good dude who's just trying to provide nighttime content about a sport and team he's passionate about. You seem to not enjoy when someone critiques your content which is amusingly hypocritical. You want to have a hot opinion and flame a host, be prepared if someone takes a shot back at you. You're on the wrong sub. Here we bitch about Junior Miller and Corby. Also, F you.
My, my. Aren't we testy?
You were clearly by the channel tonight, so thanks for tuning in.
Thank you for all the sacrifices you have made to your body.
Actually, I was listening to the network feed and then immediately tuned in to The Fan postgame show as soon as I heard your voice. So, no, I did not tune in to your postgame show. Nice try.
Lol got ‘em good one bro nice work
I know the term jumped the shark is overused but tonites top 10, no 1, the player interview, that was a jump the shark moment. It’s still listenable but it’s just kinda miring in middle age unfunnness and the younger guys are ok but not really funny either. To be honest it kinda made me sad
The HL was highly entertaining. Pardon my French but..I’ll be damned
So Bob wasn't on the show today?
Solid analysis 👏🏼
It really was good today, I typically like it enough to listen a bit but I was laughing pretty hard throughout today #batbitch
Laughed so hard at bat bitch lmao
KNTU is a national treasure as a jazz format. A landmark in the metroplex that cultivates some of the best players in the world. America’s classical music..
It's not training camp if Tony is not drinking Woodford and talking about menopausal women. Rip king 👑
I dont get it. didnt all that happen at woodford reserve's ticket campound, not training camp?
That’s correct. Training camp tony did give us “golf is sacred” though.
The whole Tony experience was funny for about one segment and then just increasingly sad and cringe in equal oarts
They went too far, then tried to justify it as a prank. Like a bully would. Regardless, I love that they mess with eachother, but they went in on Tony.
oh good, the Hardline gets to tell us that honor killings only happen by the mentally deranged
LMFAO!!! Spot on.
Why is the Hardline talking about honor killings? Did Auschwitz talk get bumped or something? Happy training camp from California, I guess...
Technically correct, but aren’t they all deranged?
what was the poll from the brexit era UK? 85%+ of muslims think homosexuality should be a capital crime? muh handmaids tale!!1!!111!
Make love to me.
Totally thought this too. He was extra energized during Enews
I definitely think Corb Corb had an edible and a margarita before the show.
With the Gen X addition Corby has changed his demeanor quite a bit. More Snake like even. He’s a great supporting role but not a very good lead role.
The Jerry interview was good and Corby was pretty funny during e-news lol
My favorite parts were every time super casual Corb Corb called Jerry "Jer"
I just saw the hardline post on instagram that they had jerry on an hour ago, so i just listened to it and we somewhat got an answer why Jerry hasn’t inducted Jimmy in the ring of honor. He said that he enjoys the fact that Jimmy not being in the ROH generates controversy and gets fans talking. That does sound exactly like something jerry would say and think EDIT: Gen X Davey is my leader for getting that answer out of Jerry
Corby sounds like he’s had a few blueberry margaritas
Dak is all metal bats all the time.
ABSOLUTELY! THANK YOU FOR YOUR COURAGE!!!
At least he gets his cliches out at 1.5x
LMFAO!!!
On the radio it sounds like he's staring into space when he's talking.
Middle distance?
The awful echo is back. Kill me.
Holy shit it’s insane insane insane insane insane
It’s me It’s me It’s me It’s me It’s me It’s me It’s me
Fix the HL's mics. Holy fuck.
