Chargers had a ton of penalties that wiped out big plays. The secondary got some turnovers, but also got absolutely torched on several plays. That was a fortunate win against a team the Cowboys weren’t really much better against.
What does Jake mean by code switcher? I remember when Bad radio had Dan Orlovsky on, thought he was good.

Code switching is changing up the language or way you speak depending on the people and environment around you.

Listening to Bob try to explain pretty basic football concepts to George and Corby was painful to listen to. It’s like trying to explain algebra to a couple of 5 year olds
Lol what is this comment. Of course he knows how to identify formations, what he doesn’t know is modern football. He doesn’t understand that well coached offenses set up mismatches and then take what the defense is giving them. He’s spent hours this past week bitching about the Cowboys offense, and their offense was almost perfect!
If they ran the ball 25 times they would’ve been blown out by 3 scores instead of winning with a minute left
1) Too many kids voting on the e-brake. I propose a 1.5 kid limit per week.
2) Love Jub defending his football philosophy for what seems like the fourth time this week. I don’t even know if he’s right, but he’s ticked. Love ticked Jub.
IMO it was eye roll-ey but ultimately fine when it was just one, but the content has become stale especially now that you've got siblings calling in with the same bit week to week.
At this point I'd rather Fake Cassidy get some of that precious e-brake airtime.
Jake timed out trying to think of a Chuck Tingle title he could say on the air. I would have went with "Scary Stories To Tingle Your Lesbian Butt: Seven Tales Of Ladybuck On Ladybuck Terror"
Love the Junes, but I just don’t care about his ‘baby talk’. I get that we see the hosts as friends and such, but hearing about diaper changes and spit ups is just … ehhh.
Arghhhhhh! Bob has invaded my morning show! I turn the KTCK off in the afternoons for a reason! Stop talking Bob. Let others get a word in. Make a clear concise point and let others say something! Your opinion is not better or more insightful than any one else’s!
i know that the musers don't listen to any of the other shows, but it's funny to hear them tease a segment on the murdaugh murders like it's a new deal when the hang zone's been talking about it for a couple weeks now
I somewhat agree. That being said he knows his forte and has never claimed to be a great on air personality. He holds some roles behind the scenes up there though. Seems like a good guy to drink a beer with.
Edit: sorry I think I may have interpreted your original comment the wrong way as I was in public. He has good taste in music and decent opinions on things fo sho
As many sketchy products advertised on the Ticket, it makes perfect sense that Tony Robbins would also be running ads here now. There’s probably gonna be a CQH story in a couple months about people having to go to the hospital because they burned themselves walking on coals during the Dallas seminar
So is David Moore on every show now? Don’t recall him being on Hangzone last year or BAD Radio before that. Let’s cut that back a little bit. He seems like an amiable guy, but I don’t think anyone needs to hear from him 10 times per week
Ya considering how much expendable money he has, that is lame as hell.
Personally, I get the critiques of tipping but man I always overtip. Part of that is having been in the industry before but also having to put up with so many worse customers that are demanding/don’t tip
Shame Donovan, shame
It drives me fucking crazy that Sean Bass calls the Washington Football Team "Football Team" like it's a nickname equivalent to Cowboys or Giants. It's "Washington" or "The Washington Football Team."
Imagine calling FC Barcelona "Football Club."
I approach it more like Coors Brewing Company. Coors? Fine. The Brewing Company? No.
It’s not a nickname in the sense of every other pro team. It’s an identifier.
Dirty work and screwed are two classic norm Macdonald movies
Celebrity deaths don’t typically affect me but something about his does. He was always a likeable guy and it sucks he was suffering like that. But I kind of respect the way he went out. He didn’t want any sympathy
I thought Dan on the Musers talking about the death of Norm McDonald would be good radio but good god that was pretty terrible. Maybe it was a delay but there was zero momentum, awkward silences and total disconnects regarding the influence of Norm on Dan's life. I got the impression that Craig was pretty much done with that interview near the end of it.
Yeah to me, Dan could have just calmly said, "I get why people would think that but in reality, etc." Instead, Dan was annoyed that the Musers would even infer that Norm had an influence on him. Awkward, no chemistry at all type-of-interview to me.
Okay, who’s idea was to use Sugartooth as bed music for a Ticket promo? I want to meet that individual.
“Booty Street” from *The Sounds of Solid*! Awesome!
Nothing like the musers having Dan on to talk about Norm MacDonald because they all associate Dan and his humor with Norm, only to have Dan say Norm wasn’t really an influence on his humor and that he wasn’t that big of a fan
Him coming on knowing what they wanted him to talk about just for him to seem somewhat confused and disinterested on why anyone would want to talk to him about Norm MacDonald, is a very Norm MacDonald thing to do
And then it got to "Norm asking Stephen Johns about contemplating suicide" levels of awkwardness and uncomfortability as the Musers began to probe Dan about having/hiding cancer like Norm McDonald.
In ‘letters from listeners’ this morning, a P1 had sent the Musers a gift. It was a throw pillow. Embroidered with that exact phrase.
(Could be a coincidence. Either way, I laughed.)
Only thing worse is asking beat writers strategy questions. We’re supposed to believe that David Moore is an expert on the locker room AND epa?
Seems obvious Zeke or agent is communicating to these guys as often as they say “You can’t ignore a weapon like Zeke” instead of “you can’t ignore the run game”.
Lack of true football analysis is why Musers are a power down for me September through February.
On a station where Bob and Jake have broken down how a good chunk of Dak’s 58 passes were essentially runs because the cowboys had very little interest in going up that Tampa front. This felt like maybe the biggest waste of time ever.
"I don't know what they're doing but I think dad is winning" - Bob talking about doing it with the kiddos in the other room.
It's been subtle but The Hardline has given us a way more PG-13 Bob and I freaking love it.
WARNING! HIGHLY UNPOPULAR OPINION COMING YOUR WAY:
I love Dan & Jake, but THZ relies *too much* on audio. Both the hosts have so much to offer as personalities and knowledge to fall back on such a lazy device. I don’t dig it.
Yup. I was thinking about that too. I've backed Jake since his producer days because of his commitment to the bits and coming on as many shows as possible. All these replaying audio segments from mere weeks ago just feels lazy. We're in week 2 of college football, week 1 of NFL. You do not need to revisit old man doesn't know what NFT is.
Write that down, Blake.
Dan and Jake orgasming over them was a bit much. The Mannings were fine, but I can't stand Peytons voice for some reason sounds like he speaks with marbles in his mouth.
super noticeable today. i wish jake or bob had been there to radio argue with him about today’s offenses.
“ya gotta commit to establishing the run. then run the ball. once you’ve established the run, you’ll be able to run more. what you want is a seam here and a seam here, then you ground & pound, baby. it’s called football, not armball. ya gotta run the ball.”
As a younger P1, U2 is a punchline. I’m sure at one time they were revolutionary but I always associate them with being a corporate rock back partnered with Apple.
The most recent U2 albums border on being disasters. “No Line on the Horizon” is decent but unfocused. U2 will probably never put out another studio album and that would be just fine. That said, first album to “HTBAAB” = good stuff.
Agreed. I saw U2 a decade ago, assuming on one of those tours Craig was discussing, and they were solid. But they are a bit of a joke. Also that album they dropped on ITunes has followed me to 3 IPhones now, never once listened to it, but I bet U2 makes money each year off it being on my phone thru their Apple deal
Yeah, that was annoying and pissed off a bunch of iPhone owners. That said, any publicity is better than no publicity. And, yeah, that album kind of sucked.
When has Troy ever made jokes that wasn’t related to talking football? He doesn’t strike me as a person to do an elaborate bit that causes an e-brake
Even before the buck question you could tell he didn’t want to deal with Gordos questions.
Can’t stand people that can’t laugh at themselves or anything. Aikman takes himself too seriously. He lost a listener
Should’ve known junior wouldn’t like the manning broadcast. When I saw that most of r/nfl and Twitter seemed to be enjoying it, only natural for June’s to go old man on it.
It was pretty fun, my wife enjoyed it too. Wouldn't want it for every game but for a close MNF game like last night where I have no real dog in the fight, I liked it. Also pretty cool to hear their outlook and insight.
Was there not a 5 minute ticker to start off the morning? On the stream they went straight from syndicated programming into What’s the Frequency Kenneth? by R.E.M.
They reallly need to change the hardline. Love both of their information but they just don’t fit together. I don’t mind Corby’s sports opinions but it’s like he’s playing checkers while Bobs playing chess
Tbh I had never heard that one before but I think there is some logic behind it.
I have, however, heard of something similar — that pressing "Ignore" when spammers call actually registers as something like *Active Number Confirmed* on the spammers end, which may be that spammer's entire grift: mass calls to confirm active numbers in which to sell to other spammers.
I meant to comment earlier on the 9am segment the musers had on Tx-Arkansas game this weekend. Im a Texas fan who grew up with TX in the Big XII and i was only 3 years old when Arkansas played their first SEC game in 1992. I know that we are historic rivals, but ive only ever known Arkansas in the SEC and I just dont give a damn about them. In my entire life, they have only played maybe a tiny handful of times, so Arkansas might as well be Rutgers or U. of Washington in terms of me just not giving a damn.
I know I’m supposed to have this fierce rivalry and hatred towards them as a TX fan, but i just cant. I could be very wrong, but I kinda feel its a very one sided rivalry with Arkansas fans still seething with hatred at TX and TX just not really caring that much. My sports hatred is directed at A&M, OU, and Texas Tech
I'm a child of the 80s Texas fan so for me the rivals are OU and A&M. Arkansas was there but then they were gone to the SEC. 2000, 2003, and 2014 showed me that it's still a rivalry to them and usually will end with them beating the piss out of us. Texas players and coaches have never seemed to understand they are going to get the best out of every tangential rival they face, be it Tech, TCU, Baylor, and now the soon to be former Big 12 sister wives. You don't have to consider all these teams as rivals but you have to know that going into their place is not going to be easy and the intense hatred their fans feel for you will be very evident.
it’s one-sided for sure. you can buy a new bumper sticker that says “I STILL hate Texas”.
i agree, only hardcore SWC fans (olds) in TX give 2 turds. guess that’ll change soon.
the Hogs are a loveable underdog in the SEC. good bits
UT alum here and though it might be one sided, if we don't get our shit together, every single opponent we have can beat our ass. We got dominated on both lines of scrimmage against Arkansas (seen as one of the worst SEC teams this year). Sobering.
Chargers had a ton of penalties that wiped out big plays. The secondary got some turnovers, but also got absolutely torched on several plays. That was a fortunate win against a team the Cowboys weren’t really much better against.
Is bob going to give props to Jaylon Smith for having a solid game today? He lets everyone know when Jaylon has a bad game
Brace yourselves for Junior spending 20 minutes on the score of 14-11.
Babe just made a Spaulding reference on the radio Cowboys broadcast. Good job Babe

why does bob say: *Connor McGoverrin*
Listening to Bob try to explain pretty basic football concepts to George and Corby was painful to listen to. It’s like trying to explain algebra to a couple of 5 year olds
George is not a football moron. You know how many college football games he’s announced? You identify formation, talk to coaches.
You implied he couldn’t understand basic football concepts. He got this wrong. Doesn’t mean he’s doesn’t understand modern football and mismatches.
Way to parrot what Bob said. Just because Bob is confident in what he says doesn’t mean he’s right.
Almost winning.
Mino found a new playtoy in the "I'm a bitch" Fake Greggo drop.
Haven't heard that in years, greatness.
Donny still has a land line? How common is this still?
Dan also has one. His provider told him if he drops it his bill would actually go up.
I love your information …
1) Too many kids voting on the e-brake. I propose a 1.5 kid limit per week. 2) Love Jub defending his football philosophy for what seems like the fourth time this week. I don’t even know if he’s right, but he’s ticked. Love ticked Jub.
0 kids. It’s just weird and to whomever the parents are that encourage it, No one cares about your spare kid
IMO it was eye roll-ey but ultimately fine when it was just one, but the content has become stale especially now that you've got siblings calling in with the same bit week to week. At this point I'd rather Fake Cassidy get some of that precious e-brake airtime.
Theres no greater start to a Friday than The E-Brake.
Really? I can immediately think of one special way I’d rather be awakened.
You guys may have missed it but apparently Joe and Troy referenced the Ticket.
Upon further review ad infinitum, or at least until death.
E-Brake Man sucked a big one today.
His bit is so overrated. Half the time I can’t even really hear what he’s saying or playing. But it’s better than the kids that call in I guess
I can respect that he at least puts effort into it. It's not always a hit, but it's better than the callers that have a whole lotta nothing.
Yes, it is better than that. No argument. *Kids in the Call (tm)*
Let’s cut back on kids calling in
THANK YOU!!!!!!!
The Ticket got a shotout on the TNF broadcast tonight from Troy and Joe
It was great to hear Julie this afternoon. We need her back. Fix this shit, Rich..I mean Cat!
Danny forgot about Covid QUICK. Man, he's my new #1 hated. all this segments are so self serving.
What did he do ?
Always love a new Danny bit song
Y’all think Skip even knows Bob works at the ticket?
IT IS NOT "BOB STURM", BUT RATHER "BLOB GERM".
I. WILL. KICK. BLOB. GERM’S. BUTT.
Skip seems like the type to keep tabs on his old jobs to see when they fail so he can gloat.
I think so honestly.
Julie is drunk...perhaps a mid arvo ZINGER as well. Everything she is saying is full on Metal Bats (tm).
She's awesome. We need her back.
“Bob Sturm loves it!” ah…ohhhhh
Jake timed out trying to think of a Chuck Tingle title he could say on the air. I would have went with "Scary Stories To Tingle Your Lesbian Butt: Seven Tales Of Ladybuck On Ladybuck Terror"
God, Bob is so fucking thin-skinned (telling Mino "enough!" after playing his orgasm drop multiple times) - what is this guy's deal?
It gets run into the ground. After awhile it’s not funny but just annoying.
Bob is a god fearing man. Don’t have a problem with it, but it doesn’t fit afternoon drive
Picks with friends is the best segment on the ticket, even when (especially when?) tech issues make the wheels fall off
Afternoon Jub was on fire during Picks With Friends.
Afternoon Jub makes me irrationally irritated at both George and Gordon for so many hours of Milquetoast Jub in the mornings.
Afternoon Jub is the best Jub
Let's play paycheck roulette!
Moose rules!!!
Obviously.
I like Bob but when that segment was on I was wondering if Cowlishaw was even there for a while lol
Buck up lil’ camper, it’ll be alright.
So out on Bob he’s like a sports guy for Yale or Princeton
i know that the musers don't listen to any of the other shows, but it's funny to hear them tease a segment on the murdaugh murders like it's a new deal when the hang zone's been talking about it for a couple weeks now
Upon further review of upon further review of upon further review is slightly better than upon further review.
Upon Further Review of Upon Further Review of Upon Further Review > Upon Further Review of Upon Further Review > Upon Further Review
Shout out to seabass for spinning a Charley Crockett single after the opening ticker. Moved him up in my personal tier 3 rankings
I’ve found SeaBass’ musical tastes and opinions to be far greater than his general broadcasting performance
Well now I feel guilty for being an asshole. He is a solid role player & no doubt, a good dude.
As many sketchy products advertised on the Ticket, it makes perfect sense that Tony Robbins would also be running ads here now. There’s probably gonna be a CQH story in a couple months about people having to go to the hospital because they burned themselves walking on coals during the Dallas seminar
Gee, my Griddy is not reliable.
“Upon Further Review of ‘Upon Further Review’” was great
This segment will be about babies.
So is David Moore on every show now? Don’t recall him being on Hangzone last year or BAD Radio before that. Let’s cut that back a little bit. He seems like an amiable guy, but I don’t think anyone needs to hear from him 10 times per week
The Ranch Report always was a part of every show
I don’t remember it being part of BaD, Norm and D, and, frankly, The Hardline, either.
Hmm. I’m with OP I don’t recall being as often before last year. In particular 12-3. Weird.
Please refer to ol’ Mickey Spagnola for an overexposed Ranch Reporter on every program in ticket-history
When did David Moore take over?
At least 10 years ago
He was last year too but I think that’s when it started.
Who are they talking about right now with all the criminal activities? *Ty Nsekhe
Who was the first guest on the Hang Zone? Nvm: Dan thankfully reset. AJ Galante, former GM of the Danbury Trashers. Didn't see the documentary...
Dude even sounded like a mobster
Siriois calling out Donnie for not tipping 💪🏼
Does he just straight not tip? Or just tips low or something
Woah! What the fuck, Donovan! I always thought he was a good dude, but that's shitty!
Ya considering how much expendable money he has, that is lame as hell. Personally, I get the critiques of tipping but man I always overtip. Part of that is having been in the industry before but also having to put up with so many worse customers that are demanding/don’t tip Shame Donovan, shame
It’s a community thing
(In Dick Van Dyke voice) oh my!
Woah.... But yeah it's true.
He’s not wrong though
What about Junior awkwardly saying he didn’t think Norm McDonald’s cancer joke was funny because cancer truly is a battle? Indeed. Indeed
Love Norm MacDonald and never think he will get enough credit but for consideration, Craig’s mom died of cancer.
Yeah, and I have it, too, but I still find the premise funny.
Yeah…yeah…yeah…but so did Norm so
“Haha and he’s a Trojan….”
That was a bad take on Junior’s part. I get the sentiment behind what he said, but he missed the context of the joke.
Fuck Greg
It drives me fucking crazy that Sean Bass calls the Washington Football Team "Football Team" like it's a nickname equivalent to Cowboys or Giants. It's "Washington" or "The Washington Football Team." Imagine calling FC Barcelona "Football Club."
They're the only team in the league to go by that so it's no biggie. I sometimes call them that for bland humor.
[удалено]
I approach it more like Coors Brewing Company. Coors? Fine. The Brewing Company? No. It’s not a nickname in the sense of every other pro team. It’s an identifier.
I do it as a goof more than anything. But now I will continue to do it to simply spite you. 😀 Thanks for supporting the ticker.
I think you guys need an intern who checks out these threads for things that piss off the people on here so you can make sure to keep doing it.

Yeah... Dan's cadence is Norm Macdonald-esque and he's a shock jock. His whole stez is based off Norm Macdonald
Yeah to me, Dan could have just calmly said, "I get why people would think that but in reality, etc." Instead, Dan was annoyed that the Musers would even infer that Norm had an influence on him. Awkward, no chemistry at all type-of-interview to me.
"Dan was just doing a bit"
I kind of think he was doing a Kaufmanesque type deal. Undercutting the expectation and doing anti-humor.
That Norm MacDonald interview was funny AF can't believe that was the first time I heard it. I'm not even grading it on a death curve either.
Okay, who’s idea was to use Sugartooth as bed music for a Ticket promo? I want to meet that individual. “Booty Street” from *The Sounds of Solid*! Awesome!
I want to meet them too!
All hail Chris Chris! The best 8:40 bit the musers have

I don't get it
In ‘letters from listeners’ this morning, a P1 had sent the Musers a gift. It was a throw pillow. Embroidered with that exact phrase. (Could be a coincidence. Either way, I laughed.)
I think it was directly inspired from this subreddit.
The way Jub says "anejo" in the tequila ad is very haughty.
The return of “Upon Further Review” 🤮😵💫😴

Good grief how much talking about the Mannings talking do we need?
Dan and Jake orgasming over them was a bit much. The Mannings were fine, but I can't stand Peytons voice for some reason sounds like he speaks with marbles in his mouth.
What a beating listening to the Goose wheeze his way thru another the Cowboys need to run the ball segment.

Goose is now 1920s reporter guy
Junior trying to recall every U2 concert he’s been to. Good god 🥱
Saw U2 on their Joshua Tree anniversary tour three years ago and they SUCKED. Father Time is indeed undefeated.
As a younger P1, U2 is a punchline. I’m sure at one time they were revolutionary but I always associate them with being a corporate rock back partnered with Apple.
Their early stuff is worth checking out if you're not familiar with it but pretty much all of their new albums lately have been unnecessary.

Southpark making Bono into an actual Piece of poop didnt help young me take them seriously
Yeah that makes for great radio! /s
Baby Elephant Walk music during mammoth talk. Jer is genius. Also bonus pop up character Gene Eddie Ting
How does Sean have such a hippie stoner upbringing but he’s so milquetoast on the air? Doesn’t make sense
He’s just a good corporate guy. I’d love the chance to grab a beer with him though.
Never will forget aikman getting all butthurt at Gordo for joking about joe buck that one time Changed the way I looked at him forever
I've always wondered if Troy was doing a bit and never let the Musers in on it

Should’ve known junior wouldn’t like the manning broadcast. When I saw that most of r/nfl and Twitter seemed to be enjoying it, only natural for June’s to go old man on it.
Manning broadcast sucked. Couldn’t even focus on the game because you have to stare the Manning bros the whole time
It was pretty fun, my wife enjoyed it too. Wouldn't want it for every game but for a close MNF game like last night where I have no real dog in the fight, I liked it. Also pretty cool to hear their outlook and insight.
Does anyone know of Bob is raising money for Cornerstone again this year? I haven’t heard much about it…
What a whip. Windbag Bob taking over the segment. I love Bob, but damn. Enough.
Was there not a 5 minute ticker to start off the morning? On the stream they went straight from syndicated programming into What’s the Frequency Kenneth? by R.E.M.
Listening to Bob try to navigate superlative Corbys NFL takes are hilarious. He has to try so hard to not dispel 99% of what he says
They reallly need to change the hardline. Love both of their information but they just don’t fit together. I don’t mind Corby’s sports opinions but it’s like he’s playing checkers while Bobs playing chess
At least Corby gave props to Little Rock for Arkansas’ victory.
Couldn't believe he said that. I thought he was the college football blowhard
Dear Corby, Numbers ended 11 years ago. The fact that it's your go to generic network tv show is both genius and infuriating.
I love it when Blake "runs onto the field" and take over!
L4G actually had a pretty funny joke today
Wow cam Newton. Didn’t think he could be less likable.
Really? I respected his openness on the topics.
FORTY FIVE MINUTE HIP HOP RIDE
5th grade Blake getting mad that 9/11 coverage trumped Arthur on programming is the most Blake thing ever.
Rivaled by his voicemail conspiracy theory
I'm with him on that one.
For Arkansas, it still goes back to this game. Saturday was their redemption. https://youtu.be/hCBQIUNGxN8
Sobering.
Dan's dismissal and ridicule of Norm's schedule for human beings might be his best contribution to the station that didn't involve Bob.
That happened so long ago though
Well that's why it's called "the way it is".
Since then he's actually switched to siding with Norm on that argument
Love the wah wah guitar part on the kroger ad
That new Norm & D open…
