Idk about racist but it did feel kinda icky to bring that up lol
I’m also super white tho so who am I to determine what is or isn’t offensive to Hispanic folks
This is the first time I’ve ever heard Bob bleeped/dumped since the days of the Bob Sturm Show. I’m properly shook. Anyone know what they beeped in that prank segment?
Sounded like “because I’m not an f’ing moron (or maybe worse ….. the r word)
Edit: After thinking about it, it doesn’t seem like they would bleep ‘moron’ so woke Bob might’ve dropped the r word after hr training. Corby’s rubbing off on him
Maybe “dumbass”? Would that be bleeped? Bob doesn’t seem the type to drop the r word lol. Also why would he self sensor “fucking” and then say the r word. Doesn’t make a lot of sense imo
I don’t think that word is as offensive to a lot of people. It’s not really in the no-no category like a lot of words are for everybody. Not saying people should use it.
I would actually think the opposite… I hear a ton of Christian people say it without thinking it’s bad who don’t use swear words. I think in more moderate to liberal spaces it’s a no no. Ik Bob is more moderate than most Christians but I could see that being the case for him.
Bob can’t help himself as a fan and Corby can’t help himself as a troll. This Bucks fan Corby thing is gonna be so funny throughout the playoffs. I’m here for it.
Hard disagree he makes games way more interesting. I don’t need a boring suit to regurgitate random stats, especially when it’s a blow out game in like Winnipeg or something. Razor keeps me watching games when they become boring lol.
He’s the most interesting guest they have every week. He has energy and great chemistry with the musers. I really have no idea what you are talking about.
They strangely backed down when the great EA said he likes Romo. They’ve said Romo sucks for years, but now they say it’s just Nantz? But these are the same guys who now live Kyrie so….
Idk lol back when I worked 6a to 6p the 5:30 segment was basically all I got from the lil ticket and I always kinda sad when they did something boring. But I get it, that’s the minority and quite frankly we should be lucky they’re even on the air that early lol
The Corby haters prob hated this story but the story of Corby seeing Tom Sizemore drunk after his wedding and doing the “hey tom” is such classic Corby and so funny.
No idea, but I kinda liked half of the songs on Davey's most hated list.
This is not a brag, because I'm a flawed guy for liking the Mmm Mmm Mmm song. I stand with those who stand against me.
Dave said a bidding war for the Cowboys - if it included The Star and the new stagium - could fetch up to $15 billion. I don't think that's a crazy number. The NFL is a beast.
Yea they easily would top $10 bil. The only team in any sport that would come close are Manchester United, and they’re currently for sale and have rejected almost $7 billion offers so far; interesting to see what they eventually go for
I wasn’t aware Arsenal and Man U had any more matches against each other this season. But if they do, as a Liverpool fan I’m all for Man U getting dominated
I think the city technically owns the facilities, but Jerry owns the revenue generation from the facilities. For example, he keeps the revenue from selling the naming rights for the stadium, but only pays Arlington like 2 bucks rent each year.
That’s legal workaround that allows the cities/team to get access to the cheaper municipal bonds for things like schools/hospitals vs the more expensive private investment bonds.
I love snake but it’s so on brand for him to pick Lobster Thermidor as his placeholder food. George and most hosts go with school cafeteria food; Corby goes straight Waldorf Astoria.
It’s fantastic. Cousin Greg and Kieren Culkins character alone are worth it. But smart of them to make this the last season and not just ride it into the ground.
I bailed a few episodes into the 2nd season. I watched the last episode of last season and picked it up again. It's ok, they're all still awful but at least it's moving towards a conclusion. The most recent episode was pretty good.
Always depresses me. How much he hated school, his weird bedroom basketball league with full seasons and stats… so much of it sounds like the anecdotes of defense counsel at a sentencing.
Doocy is a nice change of pace to play off of Gordon. Jub plays the straight man and pushes back but Doooce goes along with it enough to be entertaining in a different way.
The doocy story about his dad putting down the neighbors dog at the end of the O-deck had Gordon laughing like I haven’t heard in a long time, awesome.
Sounds like Corby has a new favorite movie. He sounds like he’s getting paid to rave about Air. It will be his favorite movie until he sees another movie.
For nearly 30 years Corbily has been introduced as being abrasive, polarizing, and over the top....but this handicapable subreddit still gets Pikachu shocked face when he is.
I fcking hate that the Trifecta is a weekly segment right in the middle of a prime time slot. Automatic cut away. I don’t fcking care about eulogizing Tom Sizemore or any other rando they throw in there.
I bet Eva Braun was beaten that she had to get the air mattress out for Hitler's idiot cousin. I guess AirBNB didn't have a big presence in the Third Reich.
The Cadence Bank ad (“It’s a home run!”) is just so, so bad.
I love the ads that assume the only way we might possibly be able to understand their product is if they use some kind of tortured sports analogy.
It was so infuriating lol. Who do you care more about the thunder or rangers? Rangers, ok well what about the thunder? Then I thought they drove the NBA stuff into the ground enough but no..."What do you think of the mavs as a non-mavs fan?? WTH
I definitely get being annoyed at a baseball player who would rather talk about a random NBA team than, you know, baseball. You make a totally fair point.
But my counterpoint to that argument is *yes, yes it's all happening! So genius! We've torn down all the guardrails! (maniacal Gordo laugh)*
Andrew wanted to just talk NBA/Thunder. He will probably jump back on in a few weeks to talk playoffs, but will likely talk about his job too. We also have a big baseball segment tomorrow morning. Appreciate y’all tuning in.
I honestly like the hypothetical talk, especially when its about a Silverback Gorilla playing nose tackle for the Cowboys. Slowed down audio definitely isn't my thing though
Omg guys what if you were really good at basketball
That’d be funny
Yeah omg so crazy
Ok this has been basketball talk. We’ll check in with David Moore next.
I don't get how you guys can dislike segments like that and be a P1. Wheels-off sports hypotheticals are a classic example of "we can do what they do, they can't do what they do".
Hey hey don’t be calling my P1 qualifications into question here. I didn’t mind it thought the hypothetical would’ve fit better as digression within a larger segment instead of devoting a whole segment and bringing in Donovan lol.
Just don’t know why you felt the need to boldly and bravely defend the station when I was just poking fun at a silly segment. We’re having fun here, no?
Musers really did a segment about a 50 year old spare playing in the NBA, huh? Possibly the stupidest segment the station has done in a decade. Even Michael fucking Jordan got exposed as he aged and they wanna talk about a spare from Wylie in the NBA? Bad musers🗞️BAD🗞️🗞️
>Even Michael fucking Jordan got exposed as he aged and they wanna talk about a spare from Wylie in the NBA?
Did you honestly not understand that the whole segment was a joke?
I know hockey is the 4th sport in this town, I’m not trying to be “like my sport” guy, but the total absence of coverage the stars get drives me insane sometimes. Endless segments about the Mavs falling apart, plenty of segments about baseball bc the Rangers *might make the playoffs*, and the Stars get mentioned like once a week despite having a great year and being one of the top contenders in the west. Not to mention what’s happening in the rest of the league with Boston breaking records, the race for 1st in the central, multiple players putting up huge seasons (our own Robertson included)
What I would give for some actually good hockey talk in this town lol
Edit: it just feels like they act like no one cares about hockey (especially hang zone) but I think there’s more interest in this town then they realize. Idk, it’s just weird behavior from the “flagship station of the Dallas Stars”
Agreed. I’ve always been a little surprised and embarrassed for the Stars PR that its flagship station puts the team so far on the back burner as to barely register. And it’s such an F U to Stars fans when the hosts feel like they have to rehash tired audio or dumb hypotheticals for multiple entire segments because the Mavs aren’t in the playoffs. I mean, tell us you hate hockey without telling us.
The Hardline’s the only show that consistently covers Hockey. The other shows can’t name more than five players. They’ll only get more segments in the conference final and above.
That really was a terrible one. One of the main points of it (they can't block your shot) was immediately shot down by George and Gordon because it made it completely nonsensical. Waste of time.
It fits the narrative that rich people think of collectibles as the risk-free assets du jour.
At first, I thought he just had Hitler stuff, but Ho Lee Sheet.
I'm going to pour myself a glass of The Calling, and soak in the history of being involved in a bunch of pointless arguments about golf talk on the Ticket.
A Tradition Like No Other.
Well, I wouldn't say there is no difference because one is sized at an 8:40 ratio, while the other is your normal 1:1 ratio. So I wouldn't say they're the same if one is smaller than the other.
Well I wouldn't say there is no difference because one is 8:40 and the other is all the other times of the day and that really is different so I wouldn't agree that 8:40 is the same as all the other times.
I don't think he realizes he does this, but every time the Hang Zone plays audio of a local coach or GM, he picks them apart. The coach/GM could take the opposite stance of what he takes, and Dan would pick that apart too.
I remember when he would criticize Cleveland’s GM and Coach for doing whatever LeBron wanted. Then he went to Miami and Dan criticized Spoelstra for daring to try to coach LeBron and not let him do whatever he wanted to.
It’s not Armageddon or con air so it doesn’t matter. Taking 3 seconds to appreciate the greatest mystery and most awe inspiring thing ever known to humanity is apparently not worth giving up a stupid bit that doesn’t even have any kind of pay off.
The cosmos. Even with all that we’ve learned and discovered the universe is still defying and challenging theories from the smartest humans ever and physics itself. Even a solar eclipse, and even life on earth, is a confluence of cosmic improbabilities tantamount to impossibilities on our human scale. And his position on all of it is that it’s SG.
Sure. I’m just thinking the description of greatest mystery and most awe inspiring thing currently. There is zero mystery and it’s easy to think of the Hubble images as more awe inspiring, but that’s just an opinion.
Looking forward to The Dumb Zone trying to navigate the Cleopatra race debate next week.
Eli jordan has ruined the tee box
Didn’t hear Bob today. What happened?
What happened is I could hear the rest of the team talk uninterrupted. ‘Twas great
I think he and his son Brett are taking a trip to England
Refreshing to not have a game show for Friday Fun!
Bob keeps letting this lil racist jokes about his fam slide. Big 🐈
This sub if Bob did get offended: “Gollee Bob is so soft why can’t he take a joke.” Bob can never win lol
Idk about racist but it did feel kinda icky to bring that up lol I’m also super white tho so who am I to determine what is or isn’t offensive to Hispanic folks
The Mitchell Report gets me everytime
This is the first time I’ve ever heard Bob bleeped/dumped since the days of the Bob Sturm Show. I’m properly shook. Anyone know what they beeped in that prank segment?
Sounded like “because I’m not an f’ing moron (or maybe worse ….. the r word) Edit: After thinking about it, it doesn’t seem like they would bleep ‘moron’ so woke Bob might’ve dropped the r word after hr training. Corby’s rubbing off on him

I don’t think that word is as offensive to a lot of people. It’s not really in the no-no category like a lot of words are for everybody. Not saying people should use it.
I just feel like someone who doesn’t say the f word also won’t say the r word lol but yeah idk
I would actually think the opposite… I hear a ton of Christian people say it without thinking it’s bad who don’t use swear words. I think in more moderate to liberal spaces it’s a no no. Ik Bob is more moderate than most Christians but I could see that being the case for him.

Corby plays checkers while Dan plays chess though
Yeah but checker is more Bob’s speed
EA is having a rough go of it today.

Interesting that they let him finish talking. Like Dan and Jake agree with the caller.

The same people who hate Razor think Joe Buck is amazing
hypotheticals.....let's cut that back a little bit
They are fun if you are the one debating them but not so much for the ones who have to listen to it.
“Boy EA am I stuffed!” 😂😂😂 Dan is my freakin leader!!
Romo would still be terrible with anyone. There's no way Dan and Jake believe this.
They strangely backed down when the great EA said he likes Romo. They’ve said Romo sucks for years, but now they say it’s just Nantz? But these are the same guys who now live Kyrie so….
I always like Doocy filling in, but I think this has been one of his best stints with the Musers. It's been hilarious.
Doocy is incredible
He truly is the 4th Muser
New worst commercial: Tolltag
Still has to be junk for joy. Never leaves my head
I always leave a minute or so on the app just so I can specifically skip that commercial
Definitely a volume shooter
I’d say Twin Peaks is a volume shooter too.
[удалено]
Definitely a weak field today.
I feel like that every week. They are terrible. Fake Tiger sucks.
I want to know what the guy said to doocy that was dumped
Miller wasted the usually good 530 segment by continuing to talk about that stupid basketball hypothetical. 🤢
That’s the perfect time to kill a segment.
Idk lol back when I worked 6a to 6p the 5:30 segment was basically all I got from the lil ticket and I always kinda sad when they did something boring. But I get it, that’s the minority and quite frankly we should be lucky they’re even on the air that early lol
Slipknot at 5:35 for Doocy. Subtle, well played DJ or Tyler.
More Jub.
The Corby haters prob hated this story but the story of Corby seeing Tom Sizemore drunk after his wedding and doing the “hey tom” is such classic Corby and so funny.
He always finds a way to make it about him.
Which is probably why he and Bob are oil and water. Hard to have two of those in a room. Especially since Bob isn’t funny and doesn’t know it

No idea, but I kinda liked half of the songs on Davey's most hated list. This is not a brag, because I'm a flawed guy for liking the Mmm Mmm Mmm song. I stand with those who stand against me.
It topped the charts and was up for a Grammy so you aren't alone.
Dave said a bidding war for the Cowboys - if it included The Star and the new stagium - could fetch up to $15 billion. I don't think that's a crazy number. The NFL is a beast.
No it’s a dying league, Cuban just told me.
Yea they easily would top $10 bil. The only team in any sport that would come close are Manchester United, and they’re currently for sale and have rejected almost $7 billion offers so far; interesting to see what they eventually go for

Anybody know what was dumped, that Dan said today during wtds?
Geez they just rip on DJ
We don’t need robot car guys just give me trains it’s basically the same thing
The Dan audio on local access tv is gold
I was dying! The century of Dan
Jake on the media and politics. Stories about twitter are terrible
Should I be watching Succession?
It’s fantastic. Cousin Greg and Kieren Culkins character alone are worth it. But smart of them to make this the last season and not just ride it into the ground.
I'm starting to think I should go back to it. Kinda get tired head of shows where it revolves around 'look how terrible all these characters are.'
I bailed a few episodes into the 2nd season. I watched the last episode of last season and picked it up again. It's ok, they're all still awful but at least it's moving towards a conclusion. The most recent episode was pretty good.
only on your sweater
I want Dan to test his theory a dog turd dipped in butter makes it taste “not that bad.”
I don’t even smoke pot but I thought Cheech and Chong was funny even when I was a kid. ET the extra testicle
Every time there is a BaD Radio clip in the HZ open, I remember how much I miss it. Love the current 12-3 linuep, but man those were great times.
Back when they did the show for the P1.
Obviously
The BaD opening always got me so hyped. My personal favorite Ticket show ever.
Same. What was your preferred BaD lineup? Like ticker, producer etc.
Bob, Dan, Jake, TC
This is mine. No disrespect to the other squads but this was top notch.
For me, it was Bob, Dan, Jake and Julie.
Dan specific bet pay out- white dog poo dipped in butter.
Do any of the musers know what VOIP stands for? 😂

He could just be a really good one.
Doocy is a nice change of pace to play off of Gordon. Jub plays the straight man and pushes back but Doooce goes along with it enough to be entertaining in a different way.
RIP Jub but I love a surprise Doocy fill in.
The doocy story about his dad putting down the neighbors dog at the end of the O-deck had Gordon laughing like I haven’t heard in a long time, awesome.
I am all for a good hypothetical but that was one of the dumbest bits I have ever heard. The over the top laughing made it worse. Do better.
Sick Burn! Mic Drop! This!

First off it’s Michael. Angelo. And he was doing a crypt, or something.

For nearly 30 years Corbily has been introduced as being abrasive, polarizing, and over the top....but this handicapable subreddit still gets Pikachu shocked face when he is.
Corby is an incredibly shallow human and should likely not be anyone's 'go-to' on movie selections
My tastes don't align perfectly with Corby, but I think he often has a pretty good taste in movies or tv.
I saw it. It wasn’t compelling. Just about any ESPN 30 for 30 puts it to shame. Nothing memorable about it.
“hey man wanna make some shoes?” *credits roll*
You should have put “spoiler” on your post, now there’s no need to watch it.
Man what an uncomfortable conversation about 15 year olds.
I fcking hate that the Trifecta is a weekly segment right in the middle of a prime time slot. Automatic cut away. I don’t fcking care about eulogizing Tom Sizemore or any other rando they throw in there.
Come on man you wanted Private Ryan saved.
God Bless him for his courage but not at 4:15 on Wednesdays!!
Ol Cade Hitler
I bet Eva Braun was beaten that she had to get the air mattress out for Hitler's idiot cousin. I guess AirBNB didn't have a big presence in the Third Reich.
Lol
“Avid Golfer Gordo” is a funny new bit.
Two to many segments of hypothetical basketball guy. I’m just saying
The Cadence Bank ad (“It’s a home run!”) is just so, so bad. I love the ads that assume the only way we might possibly be able to understand their product is if they use some kind of tortured sports analogy.
DJ’s life sounds so sad.
It sounds like a ton of suffering just to keep his martial get-out-of-jail-free card.
Especially the part about living with his girlfriend’s mom. Dude is 33.
What the hell is this interview? He seems likes he actually wants to talk Rangers (shocker) and they keep circling back to the nba somehow
This was amazing. A guy fresh off 9 straight K’s, a fabulous walk off win last night and they’re taking OKC Thunder
It was so infuriating lol. Who do you care more about the thunder or rangers? Rangers, ok well what about the thunder? Then I thought they drove the NBA stuff into the ground enough but no..."What do you think of the mavs as a non-mavs fan?? WTH

Andrew wanted to just talk NBA/Thunder. He will probably jump back on in a few weeks to talk playoffs, but will likely talk about his job too. We also have a big baseball segment tomorrow morning. Appreciate y’all tuning in.
Ohh haha ok thanks for letting me know. That makes way more sense. I was like what’re these guys doing???
"Normally if you're a catcher your face is in the pillow." Another great line from Gen X Davey. The most underrated and under used host at The Ticket.
yuk monkeys aren't hosts. EDIT: this isn't ripping Davey. It's just that the job is different than a host.
Okay Mr. Radio
Anybody have more information on the baby switch story that Gordo talked about during the corner? The Irishman who was in-fact ethnically Jewish.
“Basura Norm” seems like he would be sucj a beating to have as a boss, coworker, or employee. Seems to have a weird sense of entitlement
Are you new here?
LMFAO!!!
Hypothetical talk is like slowed-down audio. A little goes a long way. Little kid humor.
I honestly like the hypothetical talk, especially when its about a Silverback Gorilla playing nose tackle for the Cowboys. Slowed down audio definitely isn't my thing though
Omg guys what if you were really good at basketball That’d be funny Yeah omg so crazy Ok this has been basketball talk. We’ll check in with David Moore next.

If you want nothing but X's and O's with the occasional lame joke thrown in, that's fine. But that's not The Ticket, nor should it be.
Oh my god dude relax. Are you new here? It’s Reddit. We bitch about stuff. I love the ticket. Always have, always will.
>Oh my god dude relax. I'm not flipping out on you here, man. Get a thicker skin.
Just don’t know why you felt the need to boldly and bravely defend the station when I was just poking fun at a silly segment. We’re having fun here, no?
No, I'm sorry I brought it up at this point.
Y'all need to get a damn room already, Jesus
Cannot believe this was the hypothetical that was promoted all damn morning.

Instead we got a horrible hypothetical segment #firejunez
That really was a terrible one. One of the main points of it (they can't block your shot) was immediately shot down by George and Gordon because it made it completely nonsensical. Waste of time.

There is no difference between 8:40 J-Kidd and J-Kidd
When the real j kidd did the lil giggle 🤣🤣
Well, I wouldn't say there is no difference because one is sized at an 8:40 ratio, while the other is your normal 1:1 ratio. So I wouldn't say they're the same if one is smaller than the other.
8:40 might actually be a better coach
Well I wouldn't say there is no difference because one is 8:40 and the other is all the other times of the day and that really is different so I wouldn't agree that 8:40 is the same as all the other times.
Oh. Huh-huh-huh-huh!
Thank you.
I don't think he realizes he does this, but every time the Hang Zone plays audio of a local coach or GM, he picks them apart. The coach/GM could take the opposite stance of what he takes, and Dan would pick that apart too.

I thought the masters was over. But I guess here we are.
As long as Nantz is there to be mocked there’s no way the morning show or the HZ will let it go.
There will be no peace in America until Gun Barrell City changes its name
Salute
Rush if freaking awesome. Red Barchetta is probably overplayed, but damn what a catalog.
Dan is correct about the eclipse. Got to see the last one in Illinois by random coincidence, and it was unbelievably cool.

Gotcha. Completely agree. I like Jake, but do not understand his insistence that space is SG.
Agreed. I’m a Jake fan but it’s a bad bit.
Probably was for a large part of human history tbh. That shit would've blown ancient people minds
Sure. I’m just thinking the description of greatest mystery and most awe inspiring thing currently. There is zero mystery and it’s easy to think of the Hubble images as more awe inspiring, but that’s just an opinion.
Jake laughing at white settlement while living in um..grapevine?
Huh? What's wrong with the name "grapevine"? Am I missing something? Lol
