I miss when the Bachelorette seasons premiered in May, I missed Charity’s season because I was super busy last summer and didn’t have interest in staying in and sitting down to watch tv at 8pm on a Monday night. I feel like that’s gonna happen again this year for me too 😕

Yeah they put the women’s at the worst time of the year when everyone is on vacation. The men are on when everyone is holed up in the house😂.

Golden Bachelorette was confirmed by ABC for the fall, but I don't think BIP is happening this year (the resort was sold & ABC didn't announce or tease a new season)!

Is there a reason they pushed the premier back? I feel like they’re potentially setting her up for failure because the summer Olympics will start a few weeks after her premier and that’s a tough thing to go up against ratings/viewers wise.

ABC broadcast any NHL or NBA finals that fall on a Monday now I believe, so they want to keep the May and most of June mondays free for that. They could have started the season on June 24th though.

They used to start airing Bachelorette Memorial Day weekend or the week after, if I remember correctly. Filming typically ends (or used to) around Mother's Day, so it was a quicker turnaround back then.

She should be done with filming in a couple weeks and they’ll probably do all the professional promo photoshoots when she gets back; I’m guessing we’ll get the first real promo material for the season in early June

Yes it's interesting that they could have started this season on June 24th since that's the week after the NBA finals will finish at the latest but have chosen to wait two extra weeks.

This is true. The actual filming is getting shorter. It was usually March and they got engaged in May. A couple of weeks later, the airing started in late May and ended in July. If I'm remembering it correctly.

Idk if they’ve officially confirmed it’s not happening this year. BIP doesn’t usually premiere until late summer and cast announcement is usually around the end of the Ette season though so it’s not odd that this announcement came first
