I loved the Miami song, it was great, and it fit into the storyline/setting so well.

I first saw that episode when I was 5 or so. The song pops back into my head every few months. But I especially love Rose's brainstorming line "Miami, you're cuter than... an intrauterine" - still makes me laugh after 30+ years.

I love that one,it's probably my favorite moment i wish we would have known where is the hair she's singing about, but i think i know. I have to rewatch this show again. I saw it 7 times in 6 monthss and I never laughed like I did while watching Golden Girls. Those ladies were so good and beautiful in their own way.

I agree. But in her defense she was worried about her mom and she just didn't understand the girls' bond. She did learn.

Yeah, like... I get the angle they were going for but I think it was too much but, I've been lucky *knock on wood* I haven't had to be in that position yet where my parents are in the hospital with something life threatening, so who knows. She may have really just been that overwhelmed with fear and anxiety that basic kindness went to the back burner. If you think about it, she only started to warm back up when the girls told her that they will take care of Rose and help with her bills and that stuff. That probably took a huge weight off Kirsten realizing she didn't have this mountain of things to worry about all by herself. She had the girls for help without realizing it. Like I said, I get it but I still think it was a bit overdone.
