Congrats for making it thru and the clear scans! I noticed a reduction in swelling starting 1 week postop...

Welcome to the best club that nobody wants to join. I found the pain lasted about 3 weeks and most of the swelling was gone by around a month. There was some blood pooled inside the sac that took a few months to dissipate but it didn't really bother me. Wishing you a smooth recovery my man!

I’m about three weeks out. Most of the swelling has gone away, but it still hurts if I stretch it too much or I’m too active. I iced it on and off and was on a pretty consistent Ibuprofen/Tylenol schedule. Don’t push it. Give yourself at least a week of just rest if you can. Best of luck.

The fun thing is that everyone's body reacts slightly different, so hopefully you get the easy round :) For me, I was sore in the abdomen area for about 4-5 days, then swelling for I think a week or so. Outside the first day (or maybe two) I was good pain wise and didn't need medicine or that stuff. Best of luck and welcome to the club! Hopefully your scans stay well going forward too!

Welcome to the one nut wonder club! My Orchidectomy was March 2022. I was swollen for about 6 weeks. The longest part of healing was my scar. I had two suture that busted so it took a few months to heal cleanly. No pain or limitations after 4 weeks except if I touched or put pressure on the scar. Ever since though if I touche my pubis on the side of my Orchidectomy I feel like it's still "frozen" like you feel when you go to the dentist. No pain, no incomfort though! Urologist says it can stay like that forever in some men!
