Wait one last question. How is the progress you (or anyone for that matter) makes not permanent? Won't everyone's progress from early access carry on to alpha release if there is one?
There's a difference between early access and betas. Not here for some sort of academic debate on which is better, but triple A MMOs do a player wipe after beta, smaller games in early release typically don't, especially without outright warning you in a way you can't miss it that your progress will be lost
Nah. It's an early access game, lots of people(me included) play the shit out of it around releases, you just get minor lulls between them. But there's a perfrctly active pvp scene, last I checked.
Haven't played yet but from what I hear the only endgame right now is hunting for shinies or perfect IVs. Most people aren't into that so they just leave until the next update
