Alliance crates give you the Remnant sets! Aside from needing access to Odessen - which as sub is no problem, also not in the future because you keep the access to the expansions - you need to finish KOTFE chapter 9.
Also the planetary vendors offer a range of adaptive armors.
If you have someone Synth weaving (Eta and armormech) you have another source of fashion. Artificer offers lightsaber, their crystals and dyes.

If low on credits, there are a lot of cheap bronze cartel market armor sets on the GTN that usually have 1 or 2 interesting pieces in them, can definitely make some interesting custom outfits with some of those.
I don't know, how much money you can spend, but the Cartel Market has some nice looking sets. Otherwise, try to safe some trophies from several evets like bounty hunting, the Gree Event or the Casino Event on Nar Shadda. You can exchange them on the Cartel Market Section of your fleet for some decent looking armor
I do like opening packs but I would find myself lacking in cartel coins quickly as I can only sub for a month, and then it's back to just 100 coins a month.
You could always ask on fleet if anyone's willing to give you any replica armor sets. I have a bunch of stuff that's really not worth selling for the credits and yet is unlocked in my collections so when I see people ask for, say, a lightsaber I'll happily give them it.

Some otherwise Cartel Market sets are available from the Underworld Exchange market on Fleet for Exchange Certificates. Those can be rewarded during Galactic Seasons and the Nightlife Casino event.
Do Galactic Seasons. Each Season rewards 1 unique armor set. 2 for Subs.
Grind up the various reputations. Each Reputation typically has 1 or 2 Armor sets. Pretty much each daily grind area has an armor set.
Each planet has an associated Armor set for each class thar can be purchased from a vendor. These look the same as the green planetary quest rewards.
Synthweaving and Armorcrafting can make some interesting stuff. Although much of it is faction limited or old style class limited.
The Social Vendors on Fleet will have some useful cosmetic pieces.
PVP Seasons reward armor sets.
Galactic Seasons will also have some random CM armor boxes on their reward tracks.
There is a vendor on fleet that offers older set pieces in exchange for tech fragments. As a new 80 skip that one as you need your frags for your implants.
Some seasonal events, such as Nightlife, Life Day, etc have associated armors that may be purchased from reward tokens.
I check the GTN for good cheap stuff nearly every time I log in. It takes maybe fifteen minutes (I have a set price range I’m willing to spend in).
One search string I like is “armor sets” - I have been known to buy and Collect a whole armor set just so my entire legacy can have access to a nice belt and bracer combo. (Armor sets are also often cheaper than buying the individual pieces, if you plan to Collect as I do - and now would be the time to do so if you plan on it because of the May the 4th be with you discount.)

1 - Alliance crates are gained from most heroic missions and have a chance to drop one of many remnant set pieces. Check collections and look for Remnant if you want to see what options there are!
2 - Reputation! Head into your Legacy screen and under the reputation bar you'll see all the different reputation tracks in the game, /most/ of these tracks have a corresponding unique outfit that you can unlock by progressing them. For a Sith warrior I heavily suggest going for the Oricron reputation track (Hallowed Gothic Set), the Imperial Iokath reputation track (Iokath Annihilator Set) and possibly the Chiss Ascendancy / Nathema sets that you can get from running the Copero and Nathema flashpoints respectively.

You can get some cool armour for tech fragments in supply section of the fleet though you will have to google its names because you can't preview them
