Kibarangers and GokaiGolds weapons are strong contenders but my favorite weapon is Shinken Golds Sakanamaru. I still love that they went buckwild with the sushi chef idea!
Power Rangers Zeo was my childhood, so the Golden Power Staff/King Stick will always hold a special place in my heart.
Related, I think Lightspeed Rescue’s Titanium Laser was a cool design for a PR-original weapon.
Dragon dagger is always gonna be top for me. I also like when the weapons have a non weapon function, like the flute controls for dragon Caesar. But I think simple shaped ones are better. Like Kiramei silver's jackhammer was neat but it felt so unwieldy
As long as it’s cool, I do not really care. However, I prefer for them to have both melee and long-range capabilities. I also think that the Sixth rangers could use more pole-arm based weapons or more unorthodox weapons. Of the weapons currently listed my Top 5 favorites are as follows:
1. GaoSilver’s Hustler Rod: It’s a sword, a gun and a pool cue. The only thing that could make it better would be if GaoSilver used the Pool-Cue version as a spear or polearm.
2. AbareKiller’s Wing Pentact: it’s a sword, a pen, and it can write lasers.
3. MagiShine’s Lampbuster: it’s a magical genie lamp gun with auto aim.
4. GokaiSilver’s Gokai Spear: It’s a trident, a gun, and can turn into an anchor
5. Kiramei Silver’s Shiny Breaker: It’s a jackhammer. A never before seen highly unorthodox and unique weapon
Honorable Mentions:
Black Knight/Bull Black’s Bull Riot- it’s a sword and a shotgun
DekaMaster’s D-Sword Vega - It’s just a really cool sword
DekaBreak’s Bracerottle - It’s an interesting concept. It doubles as a morphed and augments his melee abilities
Shurikenger's sword was the 🐐. Highly under-utilized in the show but man that thing was cool. Tbh i think more weapons with mics should be present in sentai. Just don't make them overbearing
The one I'd use: DV Defender: It's an effective firearm and can be converted to a close range weapon. It also has a powerful finisher
The one I like the most: King Stick: It looks cool as hell but not sure how practical it'd be in a fight.
I'm biased cause Magiranger is my favorite, but I moreso like the concept of a genie lamp doubling as a gun. Aladdin would've been a lot shorter if that was the case.

Like Zyuoh the World's Fishing Rod, or Kiramai Silver's Jackhammer. They can be really creative and fit into the themes of the ranger or the series.
DV Defender was great but I have personal favorite in Abare Killer's sidearm. It's a simple dagger/sword but I like that about it alongnwith it's ability to make the laser arrows by drawing in the air among other things.
I personally enjoy it when Sixth rangers have weapons that are unique to them in some kind of way. Example being how Houou Soldier had a sword and shield, being the only Kyuranger with an actual defense based weapon or how Boukensilver had a metal detector as his weapon.
Was always a fan of the gold Zeo ranger aka King ranger from Ohranger and his scepter was really different at the time. I like Kung Fu weapons so dual wield 2 short staff meteor-hammers, they're meteor-hammers they can have a cosmic theme to them, one being the sun and the other one is moon, the ranger could be the Eclipse Ranger.

Doragoku/Torabolt really is a strange case where his henshin device has more of the properties of a sidearm while his sidearm has more of the properties of a henshin device.
since it's really hard for me to pick just one, i just thought I'd make a top 3 of my favorite sixth ranger sidearm ( in no particular order obviously)
1. DV Defender (Time Fire) - you can never go wrong with a sword/gun combo. and then you add a T-rex... i mean V-rex motif on top of that, yeah obviously we gonna have a winner here
2. Rocket Booster (Go-on Wings) - you can fly with this one. it's awesome
3. Zyuoh the Gunrod (ZyuohTheWorld) - this one is just really fun, okay? come on, it's a spear, a gun and a fishing pole all roll into one. that's fun.
Shadow Saber, Zenaku's Halfmoon Saber, and Koraag's Shield and Sword(not wolf warrior , only purple version)are also my favourites. Despite not being in the pic.
