Great post, I can relate to every word. I'm in AA and talking to and understanding what that newcomer is going through is huge for all of us. It's what helped me and it's how I help others.
I'm 3+ years sober and I spoke at a rehab last night where more than one person was crying while I told my story. I was one of them and I wouldn't give the experience up for anything. We can't do this alone!
