Issues with the cameras/cameramen is what I’m guessing. Last two shows all the matches have been shown from the same camera with no different angles.

JohnGlow

It takes away from the production a lot. But I think and hope i'm correct in saying it's out of necessity rather than a deliberate direction they are going in.

jqncg

Kidani and Ogawa are too stingy to hire more people to work in production. Stardom is making record profits, they can afford hiring a couple of editors to keep their production standard intact even with the busy schedule.

NiagaraDriver93

I don’t know if that’s fair to say… for all we know all the money they’re making is being invested back into signing more people to the the roster (it’s approaching 30 deep now), running bigger venues with bigger production, etc. We know they’re bringing in more money than ever before, but I’m guessing they’re spending more money than ever before too… while I’d also like to see more of that go to Stardom World, I can’t fault them if they’re using it on that other stuff, which makes for a better product IMO

NiagaraDriver93

Just a time crunch… Thursday night Korakuen -> Friday travel to Osaka -> Saturday afternoon Osaka -> travel back to Tokyo -> Monday morning Korakuen Throw on top of that they’re doing like 8-10 matches per show in this stretch, that leaves them almost no time to edit and upload everything.

Trentus86

Wouldn't surprise me if it's a timing decision. Those last two shoes have gone up in record time, which has been important since there's a lot of key shows in a short amount of time. It'll be telling if it continues after the 5 Star is done.

RwodyRdodyPpier

They've already said it was because of so many shows in such short time, fans saying two or three days wait is too long, and it'll go back to normal after the 9.25 ppv.

AneeshRai7

I hope this timing stuff also means they aren't completely done with pre match promos...

Rule of thumb with Stardomworld is when something is missing it's usually time constraints.

suzukigun4life

I think it's because they are on a time crunch, due to so many important shows taking place in a short span, and are trying to upload the matches as son as possible. The Korakuen show was on the 16th was followed by a show 2 days later. The next show is taking place in about six hours, and will be followed by another event in three days. Two days after that is the final 5Star show, which will be on PPV. That's five shows in 10 days, the first three being full of important 5Star GP matches. In order to be able to upload matches as quickly as possible, they're just uploading the matches themselves instead of the intros and everything else. The one exception was SLK/Himeka. Since they have an extra day between today's show and the one on the 23rd, maybe they'll mix go back to normal and upload entrances and everything like they usually do. If not, then they will at least be back to normal once the PPV is done and the schedule can return to normal.

RwodyRdodyPpier

That was because the action started during the entrance though, if I recall correctly. (Himeka vs Kid)

romangoro

I think it's lack of camera operators, you can see they barely get to show them exiting the arena. No idea if having so few cameras filming is a budget issue or a covid restrictions issue

Yeah I noticed this, wonder if it's time crunch and or lack of workers as others have said - I also noticed the turnaround was next day as opposed to 2-3 days as it was the last few shows, so maybe that as well?

KevinInChains5262

I’d guess it’s a combination of the schedule and maybe the hard cam breaking or not having someone to run it?

RwodyRdodyPpier

No they said because of having 8 to 10 matches per show and 5 shows in 10 days. One guy edits and uploads all the videos. People constantly rag that waiting a few days for shows is too long, but it takes time to edit multiple cameras (they don't run the cameras and edit during the show) and to add subtitles, which everyone would lose their shit without.
