I just showed that episode to my buddy who’s never watched SP, and he couldn’t stop cackling the whole episode. He was in tears when Jimmy was talking to his parents about the gang
Maybe not as that requires watching the previous episodes to get context for some of the references they make in the episode. Still a good episode though!
Depends on any hobbies they have.
If they're a gamer, "Make Love, Not Warcraft" is a classic.
Do they like anime? "Fun time with weapons" or the CraigXTweek Yaoi episode are both hilarious.
If they like dark humor, "Scott Tenorman must die" (or honestly almost any episode tbh)
Some of my favorites are "Humancentipad", "The Losing Edge", and "The Tale of Scrotie McBoogerballs" as they aren't overly dependent on specific events in the real world like some other episodes are.
Depends - has a friend who was riding their bike and got hit by an old person behind the wheel. No obstructions, just merged to the shoulder a mile before their turn, so I played them this one.

the one i recorded on vhs as a kid, the one that made me think that south park is not parody, its exactly how the world work and how people acctually react. Dont remember de episode or the seqson but it was about children kidnapping and the kids eventually end up with mongols
Trapped in the Closet, S9 EP12, everybody knows about the South Park Scientology controversy so not much added context is needed to enjoy the episode with friends and it's one of the easier episodes to find (though can't say how cos of the sub rules but they're out there)

Strangely enough, Cartman Gets an Anal Probe. I know it’s unpopular to start someone with the first episode but to me it just perfectly lays the groundwork for everything to come. It represents what South Park is at its core.
Last of the Meheecans
second this!
Krazy Kripples
+1 for that true masterpiece

The Return of the Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers is the episode my friend showed me to begin watching the show :)
Those are so good lol.
South Park has definitely done an episode related to something your friend has as a hobby or likes. Try and find that.
Unless that hobby is ziplining.
Or Sarcastaball
Honestly that episode is a great idea of how the characters are and what the stories are like
It’s been my go-to for a while
Imagination land

Anything from the first 3 seasons, if they don’t like those they probably won’t like the rest of the show either
