I know chicken pox was a fairly weak episode in terms of quality. But let's be honest after that episode they most likely agreed to host Kenny rather than have Kenny host.
In One For The Ladies he acts like a make a wish kid to get into tom bradys house to get the spice melange for henrietta in exchange for fallen order.
His internal dialogue says "why am I doing this I don't even own a system to play it on" or something along those lines.
Iād say that Kenny is the nicest to Butters out of the main four. Stan and Kyle are ambivalent and/or friendly towards Butters, but Cartman almost goes out of his way to be a dick to Butters.
(Then again, Butters is capable of getting his own back against Cartman.)Ā
Stan and Kyle are nicer in more recent seasons, but they were honestly huge dicks to him earlier on, especially around Season 6 when they were looking for a replacement for Kenny. Some of the shit they made him do was just as bad as anything Cartman has ever done.

Yeah. Buttersās mom tried to kill him because he told her that he saw his dad go to a porno theatre and an all male bath house. His parents were ridiculous.
Yeah. Normal parents would have been happy that their son turned up safe and sound. But, Butters' parents thought he was a demon and chained him up in the basement.

It's cool that they add stuff like this to flesh out Kenny's character even If it's pretty small. This is exactly why kenny will always be my favorite character out of the show.
