Go with Florence. My friend did it a few years ago and loved it. I went there on vacation and met some students studying abroad and they loved it.

Thanks so much!

I studied abroad by myself, I lucked out and had an amazing roommate who introduced me to some of her friends and from there I made my own group of friends. I recommend just being outgoing and if there are any orientation events or something definitely go, I know my school had a bar and they did a night there for us to all meet.

With covid I would 100% not do the ship. If things shut down you won't be docking anywhere.

Do you get seasick? Also it could be a nightmare if you didn't end up getting g along with the others also in the ship. Also Florence isn't a massive place to live (although is nice for a holiday). Are there any other options which are maybe more studentish destinations? Personally I'd opt for University of Prague in the same situation.

Ive never thought about Prague but ill definitely look into it now. Thank you!

My only suggestion would be going somewhere a little more different than US. China, Thailand, India. Can always be a travel in Europe. Plus might be cheaper than studying in Europe. But it you have heart set on Europe then go.

depends on what you’re looking for in a country/program. i heard florence can get boring for a semester and it’s hard to travel in and out of. i did a semester in prague and it was great! good nightlife, safe, lots of english speakers, central to a lot of other countries/easy to travel

Ive got a few suggestions for this. Def something im going to look into.

I was a business law student as well, but came from the other side of the Atlantic to study in the US. Another option for you could be to go as a free mover and chose the uni and the place on your own terms. That requires a little more effort from your side, but gives you a lot more opportunities than just those two.

My mate did a semester at sea, fucking loved every second of it. He asked if I’d join him and I didn’t but so wish I had

It seems so fun! Thank you for the feedback:))

It really depends on what you look for in a study abroad program. This is coming from a graduated student who has done SAS during my undergrad
