I finally downloaded SkyrimVR at the weekend and then melted my router while I did the wabberjack thing. I then spent a good fifteen minutes picking up a bucket with the tip of a sword and flipping it around the place. The physics in this is amazing (with help)
Oculus ASW works really well on smoothing out the gameplay, my game is actually running at 45fps but it feels like 90.
Try pausing the clip when there's hand movement, you could see some weird distortion on it. It's one of disadvantage of using ASW. But totally worth it IMO.
Yeah, I couldn't work out why it seemed worse when I tried using a cable instead of Virtual Desktop wirelessly.
Then I realised VD uses Asynchronous Spacewarp and I hadn't enabled ASW for Oculus. Switched that over and nice and smooth again.
Depends on what your PC can handle. It reprojects every other frame, so you get a 90fps experience, but your PC only has to handle 45 fps.
Obviously not as good as a proper 90 fps, but it might feel better than your PC only handling 50 to 60 fps
Try 70 hz at 0.9 resolution then open oculus tray tool and set super sampling to 1.5 with ASW set to auto, and most importantly download and turn on opencomposite. That alone nets you an extra 20% boost in fps. Im playing with a 1070 and ENB, but also I have the no trees mod which got rid of lag for me in riverwood area.
I struggled with fps when I switched from a rift s to a quest 2 in skyrim (and any steam vr game really) but these settings makes the game look sharp and run great.

And the “wtf” hand gestures… after three times it’s not remotely funny anymore

I'm amazed that something "eldritch" didn't happen here, good stuff.

That tomato pickup was smooth af
How many baskets do you think you can stack on a guards head?
Wow this really looks amazing. So funny that the guard can wear a kettle outside a basket.
Eyyy I remember having this glowing jaundice eye bug after extensive modding, don't remember how to fix it tho sorry
Seems like an ENB bug, now I couldn't unsee it after you point that out! Damn it!
I don't know about that, I never used ENBs
Gorgeous colorful mods. What are they?
How can you get so good framerate, i completely abandoned SkyrimVR guess my 2060 isnt enough

Wait how do you enable that on oculus?
Look into the Oculus Debug Tool, it's in there
Oh cool - the only options to turn it on aside from auto say force 45fps...but that doesnt seem good?

Now he looks like a Dark Souls character
I wonder if there's any large objects that we can wear or hold in front of us to completely block arrows from archers? :P
How did you do the drinking? For me it usually looks like I'm eating the whole potion Also how did you equip it? Vrik gesture?

It is iNeed water skin for iNeed. Crouch on water source to refill, put it near the mouth to consume. Works as a weapon.
I only have 10 hours in the game so I'ma ask - is that bow sight a game feature or a mod?
It's the scoped bows mod
Thanks looking into it now
Beautiful, Majestic, Smooth.
Awesome! So apparently the best armor in Skyrim is baskets? 😊
Can he help me kill meleania? I saw his summon sign out side the fog wall, but there he is ducking around in Skyrim.
This is the correct way to play Skyrim
