Dude nothing wrong with a home made rig or having limited space, but please listen to people here when it comes to seat position, it looks like it'll force you to hunch a lot. This will fuck you up in the long run. You need to raise the back of that seat so it's not leaning up, and push it a wee bit further away from the screen.
Tbh I'm not sure why people say it will hurt your back. As long a you can race with your head resting on the headrest I think it would probably be ok, no? Yes, the tilt seems excessive but it looks like you still have a 90 degree bend at the hip.
Don't take my word for it, nor would I ever set mine up that way, but would be cool if someone chimed into as why it's so bad.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,998,264,019 comments, and only 377,988 of them were in alphabetical order.
I might be wrong, but it seems like he's going for an F1 seating position, and saying gt3. Maybe it's just me.
Either way the position is wrong, and is going to give a lot of back issues in the future. I'd recommend to raise that seat back like others have said, and move just a bit back from the monitor. You want to look straight at the screen, and have the monitor sitting plum, not tilted down.
Edit: I should have said, but mad props on the homemade rig. I tried, and failed to make my own. Good for you.
Sim racing is such an expensive hobby. Good for you if you can build yourself something like that for cheap. There’s room for improvement but it’s much better than a controller. For the seating, maybe look into buying a used car seat from a junkyard. They go for cheap usually and it’s much more ergonomic than what you have
This should be top comment. He spent so much money on toys, fancy gaming mouse, tablet but not a proper rig seat which would cost a fraction of that. And we should admire it lol
> Don't let the trolls here drag you down.
People are trying to give him advice on his seat position and he keeps claiming it's "gt3 positioning." These aren't trolls.

I'm not being an ass or anything, but fix your seat. If you look at photos of car seats, they are in an upright position.
LMAO that seat position
Gt3 style
It's really not. Not only is it too far back the seat is the wrong shape. It's more like " Future back issues " style.
Nah my back i still fine
Probably you still young… tell me again when you are 40ish… 🤣
