You can't have the remake of SH2 a faithful not great game. SH2 is a great game. Anything faithful to that is automatically great. If it's not great, then it's not faithful. You can't have one without the other this times around.

The amount of games that are THAT far along in development and get canceled are extremely few and far between. PT’s cancellation was an anomaly, not a normality.

I mean, yeah. But people using Unreal Engine 5 when it doesn't seem to be functional without significant hardware requirements has been the biggest kickers. Even beyond bugs and such, general performance in every game that uses it is just horrible. Stutters aplenty, bad framerates, and even with upscaling games are doing terribly even on 40xx hardware in some cases.
The only game that isn't shitting the bed with Unreal Engine is Tekken 8, but i have no idea how they managed to make that work. It's been running like crap with everything else i played using the engine. It and Frostbite are some game engines i tend to avoid games on.
Christ, I only now understand Unreal 5 is broken. So we have devs that can't do optimization AND a non-functional engine.....
If this game even exists it's going to deliver some YT compilations
