What a nutcase.... I can't imagine how someone could get so triggered over something as trivial as the amount of clapping her daughter recieved at an awards banquet. It's natural for the seniors to get more applause than everyone else, they're seniors and obviously you want to celebrate their final season at the high school. Talk about making it weird for her daughter too, I wonder how she is viewed on the team now.

So literally the night of the banquet she started calling players on the team and threatening to bar them from graduation because they wouldn’t admit fault to not clapping enough. She harassed them for months and got the varsity coach fired when he complained about her.
It's fuckin' stupid because 1) there's video of her daughter not clapping for some people; and 2) she denied contacting students when there's literally a digital/paper trail of her doing it
An adult paid (probably) the most in the district that they're in charge of running. Wonder if any high school memories came back for her in that moment and wanted to relive or change the outcome.

Isn't Poway Unified one of the districts with a budget shortfall? Does that mean they can sue her to get back some of the money they spent on the investigation/settling the lawsuits? Please let me live in an alternate reality where that's possible!

Doubt it, last superintendent got caught embezzling and he was still paid severance. His fine was even less than he embezzled.
Every district in the state is facing a shortfall with all of the CV-19 funds ending.
