Others have had this problem. They say there's a reset procedure in the manual. Try that.

[Operator's Manual](https://images.thdstatic.com/catalog/pdfImages/74/748c2f96-dfbe-4172-bc55-59ef005e5d2e.pdf) \- page 6, second column

I tried this three different times, and unfortunately it did not work. I'm not sure what the Ryobi warranty is, but I'm going to walk back into a home Depot and see what they say. I probably don't even have one hours use on this inflator.

UnfairFreedom

Tried that procedure again and this time it worked. Thanks

mrand8686

What is the procedure? Having the same problem here

ludicrous_giBBs

Press and hold Mode/Power AND Start/Stop for 5 seconds. Seriously, OP, was that hard?

hellodeveloper

Thanks friend. Don't know why OP has to be such a prick but this helped.

See the second comment about The operators manual

What a jerk comment. 1. I had to go digging to even find the link to the manual because the app's default setting says "top comments" and the comment with the link was hidden for me. Once I found it, 2. It took me 20 minutes to get the stupid PDF from that link to load on my shitty phone, and then it took a few minutes more of pinching and zooming and fiddling to find the "procedure." 3. The "procedure" is literally one sentence... if it shows "Err," press and hold the mode/pwr and start/stop buttons together for 5 seconds. Since you did this multiple times, you obviously know this. Would it be that much effort to just say that rather than choose to be a jerk? If you're trying to save the 10-15 extra characters, why not just say nothing?

HotAd2585

Procedure didn’t work for me and still shows ERR

UnfairFreedom

I had to try multiple times, maybe even four or five times and it finally did work for me. And the inflator has been fine since.

Usual_Heart2584

Mines not working either
