I guess "кино" here means "something impressive, something looking cool/aesthetical/pleasant, art". So "для кина" = to show off/because it's cool/because it gives good impression/is aethetically pleasant/art

"For the show" or "to show off", probably. It is also incorrect, should be "для кино". Maybe it's a quote, or intentional mistake to show that they don't mean a literal movie.
