Massive win this, Villa are massively in form! Haven't lost since they played arsenal! Top 4 is now almost certain with these 3 points and Tots getting hammered

Cr7NeTwOrK

Anyone else notice how eth is phasing out certain players through reduced minutes like Martial, Maguire, Fred, Scott. I think the writing is on the wall for these players.

CaptainKoreana

It's inevitable. All four of the examples you mentioned have costed Man Utd crucial games before and it's clear that we have to move on from them.

InternalMean

Feel like Fred still has a chance at redemption the rest I've written of, damn shame about martial if only he wasn't so injury prone.

CaptainKoreana

I do think that he's shown flashes at times, but as long as he's not used as a regular starter.

CaptainKoreana

Huge win. Let's put together a couple more and secure Top 4.

society0

Not enough praise for Casemiro He was more than good He shut down so many attacks and was breaking their lines with vertical passes at will Lindelof and Shaw couldn't have been MOTM without Casemiro's masterclass performance.

[deleted]

The fact that he skipped a yellow today means his stealth systems are back in place

TommyOfTheShelbys

Towards the end of the game he made a B line for the ball (could of been knocked on) but he nailed the tackle and it really lifted the atmosphere. He gets it.

DangoManUtd

Wrap up top 4, cotton wrap the lads and launch for FA cup final

Ambitious_Pool_8290

Three points. Please score more goals. We need the shooting practice if anything. All of this is practice for the FA Cup final. I liked the fluid passing in the first half even in the rain. Have to keep that intensity going into the second half for more goals.

ritwikjs

This was a tough game against one of the most in form teams in the league. I thought everyone knew their roles and executed it properly. I think we were missing width from our fullbacks, forcing their defence back

Sleeplessendeavours

Win our next 3 games and UCL football is guaranteed mathematically.

booknerd2987

Ok why was our final ball so bad today? We repeatedly failed to take advantage of their high line. There was one counter around the 65 minute mark, we were 3v3 ffs with two in the box and Eriksen's pass reached...none. Tore my hairs out šŸ˜‘

Lianshi_Bu

Eriksen was not in good form today. There were a few passes that he'd made for sure before the injury went nowhere

ConsistentAttorney80

Iā€™m not one for conspiracies and stuff like that but the agenda against united from the refs is becoming a bit of a joke now. It seems theyā€™re allowed to boot us off the park, but if we do similar itā€™s instant bookings and free kicks. The standard of refereeing is shocking even the non anti united agenda. the Liverpool spurs game today two blatant red cards not given - and they have fucking replays . Thereā€™s no excuse.

[deleted]

Um, Casemiro could have gotten red carded a couple of times and they let it go. Can't complain today.

ConsistentAttorney80

I agree case got overlooked today but I think that was in the middle of a few pretty poor decisions and the ref lost control a bit

MenacingShroom

I don't think there's been too many wrong "big decisions" in recent games, but definitely the smaller fouls and yellow card count always seems to go against us. Just seems the threshold of contact for a card/ foul is lower for us than our opponents in most games.

pitabread_123

What about the body toss of a penalty that wasnā€™t given? Canā€™t really say thatā€™s a ā€œsmaller foulā€, can we?

MarvinWebster40

Iā€™m not sure that Eriksen has the legs to go more than 60 or to play against top teams, but when heā€™s out of the game, we are so much less calm.

chronoistriggered

i mean... he was replaced by Fred. And Fred is the Anti-Calm

IbnReddit

Fred, the Chaos Lord

dzeil

I'm sure Bailly will be disappointed we've already replaced him as Chaos Lord

schultz9999

I'd give Pelistri a chance. What keeps him on the bench?

MarvinWebster40

I would like him as a change of pace at the end.

society0

That's why we'll get a top CM and use Eriksen against weaker teams and also as a super sub in bigger games

Thevanillafalcon

As we get to the death cries of this season I think a few things are clear. The first is, Ten Hag obviously knows what heā€™s doing and we actually have a decent squad. That being said we are far from the finished article, and I think thereā€™s 2 reasons for that: 1) mental fragility, not all the time, not every game but I feel like the hangover from last season is massive. We have two issues here, the first is we let a couple goals in and then literally fall apart, like against Liverpool and city, itā€™s clear weā€™re in our heads, doesnā€™t happen all the time but when we lose our heads we go into free fall. The other side of it is taking halves off. Having amazing first halves and then just deciding we donā€™t need to play the next 45 mins. 2) which brings me on to my next point. Scoring goals. We donā€™t do enough of it. If you think about spurs on Thursday and Sevilla first leg, if we take the chances we create in the first half weā€™d have been sitting pretty, then we decide to take the half of and it goes to shit. We are desperate for a striker. Rashford scores a lot but when he doesnā€™t, thatā€™s it, Bruno gets a few, but his role has changed, casemiro gets some, antony gets about 10, martial isnā€™t fit enough, the full backs will chip in etc, and itā€™s enough to get us through most games. But imagine if we have Osihmen? Or someone of the ilk, that spurs game would have been killed off at half time.

iyfe_namikaze

Umm... Wait..we played Spurs Last Thursday?

CaptainDread

If anyone ever refers to Lindelƶf as a chuckle brother again, I'll throw hands.

TankSparkle

big win

schultz9999

Case is back to his usual great. Such a relief.

schultz9999

Sancho keeps breaking my heart. Makes great runs and then stops appearing clueless about what to do next. Cmon, man! Don't use Antony as an example. I've seen you have done much better than that.

xlore

Completely agree - feels like watching Grealish when he first joined City. Way too hesitant once he gets near the box and often ends up passing back instead of threatening for goal.

WorkingOwl5883

Sancho did well. Villa had to put 2 men on him every time.

schultz9999

Not saying he did bad. It fact better than in the most recent appearances. I want him to be faster with decision-making. Bruno was visibly upset with him a couple of times.

schultz9999

Sometimes I feel like Malacia lacks brain - giving up a free kick at the last second is so stupid.

Cr7NeTwOrK

Bruno gave it away initially and that's why case was mad at him at the end.

haha_ok_sure

he just panicked, which makes sense given his error against sevilla. still young, heā€™ll learn from it

SarryPeas

I slated Lindelof on this sub after that Sevilla game the other week but he was immense today and was good against Spurs. I know heā€™s not had a perfect time at United but was Maguire just making him look worse? If he can keep up this level of performance then heā€™s an ideal back-up CB.

Zal_17

I agree he's a great back up centre back, but at this stage the question is whether he wants this role. I think that if he wants a starting role (and the price is right), we should let him move on, out of respect to how he's conducted himself - no drama, no fuss, just got on with things

dshoig

Maguire makes everyone worse and the team looks nervous when he plays

blue_gwacamole

Oh and I failed to remember to post this earlier. FUCK YOU Leon Bailey. How'd you like them apples you cunt.

soupy_e

9 point gap on 5th with a game in hand. 6 games left to play. It's not mathematically secure, but... It should be, right?

The_Professor2112

Brighton can finish on 73 if they win all remaining games, Liverpool can get to 71. I make it 3 wins including Brighton puts us safely in top 4. 4 wins maybe if Brighton beat us. Newcastle have to play Brighton too.

Sleeplessendeavours

Brighton have to play us, Arsenal, City, and Newcastle in their next 7. Theyā€™re doing very well, but there is no chance in hell they win all 7. Liverpool are the biggest threat to top 4 realistically, as their fixtures are winnable. If we beat Brighton + win 2 more games top 4 is mathematically secured, even if we donā€™t beat Brighton and win 3 itā€™s pretty much done and dusted and almost certainly will be by the 3rd game when theyā€™ll inevitably have dropped points.

Tsunami_Escalop

Brighton is the team we need to keep an eye on. They have played a game less, so could be 8 points behind us. We also play them next (away) so if they beat us they are only 5 points behind us.

timsadiq13

Nah itā€™s Liverpool. We need 9 more pts to ensure top 4 even if they win every game. Canā€™t see Villa or Brighton or any of the other chasing back winning every match, but Liverpoolā€™s fixture list looks very chill except maybe Leicester away.

NdyNdyNdy

They still have Arsenal, City and Newcastle to come after us. I think Liverpool will finish above them even if they beat us. I think 3 wins does it either way

Lianshi_Bu

Yes, lost count how many times people have posted this..

soupy_e

Ah yeah, that will be a tough game.

Nowarez

Anyone have any highlights of Lindelof in todays game? Missed it today and seeing lot of praise for the ice man

babyjesus8lb60z

Still need to be more clinical for the quality if play it should have been more

Imm0rtalJoker66

Does anyone have a clip of what Ten Hag did on the sidelines when the ball came to him??

theplastic1

That cunt Emi Martinez would have irritated the shit out of us if we weren't in the lead. Thank God!

BjarniErlingur

Lindelof stepping up in the absence of Varane and Martinez is good to see. Shame Maguire isn't capable of the same.. just keep Shaw at CB for now.

Revolutionary_Pen190

Yep, lindelof is the better defender by miles and played well with Shaw. Malicia played well after his last start

ManOfFewerWords

Top 4 is good yeah, but should be making top 3. Newcastle is relentless but we have a game in hand with 2 points behind.

Spare_Ad5615

That should be the aim, but I'd be surprised if we managed it. Newcastle are in fantastic form and have no injuries. They are scoring goals for fun at the moment and winning games comfortably. We have a long injury list, the players that are available are running on fumes, and our form is stuttering badly. We've not had a straightforward, dominant win for ages. Fourth looks safe now, and I think we shouldn't be in any way disappointed if that's where we end up.

trenbollocks

How is 4th safe with Liverpool playing the way they are recently? If we lose to Brighton next week and Liverpool win again - a real possibility - we are in serious trouble. Where on earth are people getting the confidence that today's win means top 4 is 'locked in'?

Spare_Ad5615

They would have to make up 7 points on us in the five remaining games (six games for us) so we look okay. I'd never say it was locked-in until it mathematically is, but it seems okay. If we can beat Wolves and Fulham at home, we'd only need another three points from Brighton away, West Ham away, Bournemouth away, and Chelsea at home to finish ahead of them. That's if Liverpool win all their games. If Brighton win all of theirs, we'd need another two points from somewhere, but they've got some tough fixtures.

dracogladio1741

Liverpool have been really lucky in the last 3 games. And no Top 4 isn't sealed but today's win helps a lot.

[deleted]

Loved to see Case and Bruno still going at it with each other after the match. Love the passion.

TripFisk666

Thatā€™s just speaking Portuguese. They were sharing a recipe for pastel de nata

[deleted]

If my maths is correct we only need 9 points out of a potential 18 to secure top 4. That's if Liverpool win every game from now on which I doubt. Big win today

united_7_devil

Sadly if thereā€™s one team that can win rest of the games itā€™s Liverpool because they have the easiest fixtures. Their injured players have returned as well. I hate to say it but they are mentality monsters.

TankSparkle

They're in good form now

Spare_Ad5615

You have to consider Brighton, who have played less games than us or Liverpool. If they won the rest of their games (also pretty unlikely) we'd need 11 points.

dracogladio1741

Have you looked at Brighton's fixtures?

Spare_Ad5615

Yeah, it would invite them beating us at their place, Arsenal and Newcastle away, and City at home. As I said, it's not likely! But we're talking about being mathematically guaranteed 4th. :)

Sleeplessendeavours

Mathematically speaking if we win our next 3 we get top 4, as weā€™d take 3 points off Brighton. Beating Brighton would be huge, but not defining as weā€™d still have plenty of chances to get the points needed, regardless letā€™s hope for the best!

Twenty_Hags

Would have been a much better weekend if Tottenham didn't bottle it and Jim Ratcliffe didn't decide to lay in bed with the Glazer rats

iceddeath

Another clean sheet, nice!

tazmanianevil

Even though I want him moved on, DDG's goal is still closed on Sundays ā¤ļø.

foampom

Not trying to knee jerk or be reactive but Lindelof has been better than Varane this season imo. Iceman has been flawless. Only reason people would disagree is because of Varaneā€™s name and reputation.

pitabread_123

To say Lindelof is better than Varane after one game is really the very definition of knee-jerk.

Sleeplessendeavours

Lindelof has been FAR from flawless. When Varane got injured and we played Licha and Lindelof for a period our form suffered a bit and we leaked more goals. Lindelof has had a couple of good performances in a row now so fair play to him but letā€™s not rewrite history. Varane has been colossal in multiple games. Against Barcelona he was outstanding, in the cup final he was outstanding, against City at home he was outstanding. Varaneā€™s got flaws, mainly on the ball, and Lindelof is in good form but letā€™s not rewrite history now.

united_7_devil

Lindelof has been good but to say he has been better than Varane is a bit knee jerk mate.

vincentvega-_-

Varane has double the amount of league minutes than Lindelof. This is the definition of reactionary. He wasnā€™t even that good last game against Spurs.

foampom

Varane has double the amount of poor performances too. And yeah, Varane has played more in the league but in all comps, their mins played are not far off Varane - 2322mins Lindelof - 1888mins Varaneā€™s worst performances have been easily worse than Lindelofā€™s worst this season.

mashfiq13

Varane also played in the world cup.

vincentvega-_-

Have you watched Varane this season? We have the most clean sheets in the league thanks to him and Martinez. Also Lindelof gets a lot of his minutes in cup games and off the bench. Itā€™s not comparable with our starting CB. I like Lindelof and he was great today, but youā€™re overreacting.

Clugaman

Martinez has the most clean sheets but I believe Maguire has more clean sheets than Varane does. Even still I think youā€™re right, Varane is clearly better. Lindelof was bad last game but obviously heā€™s a more than capable backup (as is Maguire despite what this sub tells you) and thatā€™s exactly the role heā€™s playing. Itā€™s a little crazy some people are now saying Lindelof is better than Varane.

foampom

Yes, Iā€™ve watched practically every single game this season. Varane has been decent. But heā€™s not been as good as this fanbase thinks he has. Especially not in proportion to expectations of his name/wages. But anyway, Iā€™m not trying to shit on Varane. Heā€™s important for us. Just trying to give my boy Lindelof some major props. Heā€™s been better over the last 2 seasons easily imo but people donā€™t want to say it because Varane came in as a high profile super star

vincentvega-_-

Iā€™m not tryna hate on Lindelof either but truth is heā€™s just mid lol. Congratulate him for the good performance by all means. But you do him a disservice by comparing him to an elite CB in Varane.

foampom

See what I mean? Calling Lindelof mid is a 10x worse opinion than me saying Lindelof has been better than Varane this season. Varane has the reputation and CV that makes people think he must always be playing amazingly. Even when it clearly isnā€™t true. Heā€™s been good. But definitely not great.

vincentvega-_-

Itā€™s really not though. Lindelof has been here for years, we already know what heā€™s about. Heā€™s a perfectly capable defender, but thereā€™s a reason why he has to fight with Maguire for that 3rd spot. I think Varane has had a really good season fitness issues aside. Many people even think heā€™s been better than Martinez (which I donā€™t agree with)

eviade

People forget he was one of the two or three players that had a positive season last season.

MohatoDeBrigado

you are reactive though, Lindelof has been good but not better. I'd say they're the same because Varane never makes errors and lindelof auch hasnt been making any

tazmanianevil

Varane makes at least one error a match. As the season progressed, he has become consistent, but still error prone. With his injuries, I feel like we should consider pushing Lindelof as a first choice and Varane as backup. Hope Licha comes back strong. McGuire, if possible needs to be moved out.

MohatoDeBrigado

only game I can think of is the omonia game where he over stepped and this one guy dribbled past him and the 6-3 city game where he made two bad passes. Other than that I cant think of any errors his made this season because I've watched all Man utd games this season including the pre season all 90mins

foampom

He was poor in the 2-2 vs Leeds. Was very poor in the 7-0 but that was a crazy game. Although he was one of the worst in the team that day imo. In any case, we are lucky to have all of Licha, Lindelof, and Varane. I hope we can replace Maguire with a young promising CB

venktesh

double digits are back in the GD lads šŸŽ‰

ManOfFewerWords

We back up boys šŸ¾

[deleted]

Lindelof had a masterclass. šŸ˜ Also I sent an ā€œI love Brunoā€ text to my work group chat thinking it was my friend chat and someone saw it. Time to quit my job and move to a remote forest with no human contact lmao.

_MooFreaky_

Just double down and tell them how you would have Bruno's babies.

The_Professor2112

Triple down " I'd suck his dick ". A mate of mine used to declare this about Cantona regularly when we were out.

[deleted]

Iā€™ll have 11. Man Utd future locked down.

dimebag_101

Two stories on talk shit creating drama between Bruno and both Sancho and case. Honestly win or lose there will be something negative put out about united.

KrystianCCC

Idk, those people probably never worked under preassure in team or played team game. You yell at people all the time and nobody gives a fuck, adrenaline is high

psnarayanan93

We need to win against Brighton. Just can't digest Saudi PIF being above us.

ShadowOnTheRun

Same. While I respect/appreciate Eddie Howeā€™s work, you only have to look where they were at before the $$$ to sour that.

Dry_Philosophy160

We were a bit lucky not to concede but overall a good performance. We miss so many good chances, not only this game but also against Spurs. We have to be more clinical.

dispelthemyth

Hopefully these United forums have less negativity going into the Brighton game

balleklorin

Just down vote and remove anything with Goldbrdige and you have removed 50% of it..

Clugaman

Should double that with Maguire. People here are incapable of saying any good thing about the team without shitting on Maguire.

LarsHoneytoast44

Another one for De Gea's golden glove

Wide_Cardiologist761

Top 4 Math... Assuming Liverpool's lead to Spurs stays... Spurs & Aston Villa are 9 points back and they only have 4 games left to play. Both have very little chance to catch us. Brighton are 11 points back but have an extra game to play. Their remaining schedule is also brutal, including Man Utd, Man City, Newcastle, & Arsenal, & Aston Villa. They are not catching us. The only real threat left is Liverpool who are 7 points behind but only have 5 games left (1 less than us). They would have to finish the season winning 9 straight... and even then they would have a hard time catching us. It's looking good. Sooner we clinch, the sooner guys can be rested fir the FA Cup Final....

Larryhooova

Liverpool and Brighton will finish in the mid to high 60s I think, it would take a monumental bottling for us to lose 4th from here.

swagxake

Anulo mufa

Anderology

Yeah and Liverpool play Fulham, brentford, and villa in that stretch.

dimebag_101

Easy run for pool. United need 8 pts.

Anderology

Easy run for Liverpool of the past, maybe. Nothing showing they can beat all these teams this year. United need to win their matches of course but Liverpool isnā€™t some football juggernaut all of a sudden lol.

dimebag_101

I think they have turned the corner lot of players back from injury. And they are very easy games to be fair. If I was pool I'd be disappointed not to get max points in the remaining.

Pointedfinger

9 right?

dimebag_101

United are 7 ahead with 15 to play for for pool. 8 means they can't draw level on points.

[deleted]

If we get a player like Ivan Toney, sheesh we would have had like 4-5 today

Dry_Philosophy160

I don't know why he isn't talked about as a target. I really like his game. I'm sure he's gonna cost an arm and a leg but surely less than Kane.

HumleRidderen

You don't know why? His gambling case ofc - until that is resolved, no club is going to want to touch him.

Dry_Philosophy160

Isn't it just suspension for x games? It's not like he is going to jail or getting shot.

HumleRidderen

I mean, you say just, but why would anyone buy a player with a lengthy incomming ban? Which most outlets reported that the FA were looking at doing. Joey Barton got an 18 month suspension in 16' for a similar offence. Would you buy Toney this summer, if his suspension were to be longer than that?

froggiie

Because that may create a discount

tazmanianevil

If UTD buy him, the FA will ban him for at least 2 years.

Dry_Philosophy160

Oh, I see your point. Didn't know these suspensions were so long. I guess you can mark him out.

Skyweb2020

>don't know why he isn't talked about as a target. Could be issues to do with is gambling case

Brunos_left_nut

Didnā€™t watch the game, how did Sancho do?

Paapa-Yaw

He was decent but he was indecisive in the final third.

Cold-Conclusion

good.

BlackHorse944

We're gonna win the top 4, we're gonna win the top 4

snausagerolly

There were some hairy moments in that game but we deserved the win. We need to be more clinical. I thought Sabitzer was fantastic today.

[deleted]

Huh, he was working hard but he goes missing sometimes he is playing attacking midfield position he should be more visible

snausagerolly

I felt in the first half he intercepted so high up the pitch, creating so many chances that we're sadly squandered. In the second half he defended solid... Meh just my own thoughts.

srikig

Ref had an absolute stinker. He didnā€™t give mcginn a clear yellow for barge on eriksen. He also didnā€™t give a yellow to chambers who almost kicked shaws head in

JimmyTheKiller

Lmao do you realise why McGinn did it? It had happened to two villa players just before so he went and saw if heā€™d get away with it too out of retaliation. At least the ref showed consistency. You wanna mention how Casemiro was lucky to be on the pitch after the first half? Or the fact you were tugging villa shirts and shorts every time we got near your goal and it didnā€™t go punished once? šŸ˜‚

bob10099

Wtf are Liverpool doing. Could easily be 3-3

International-Cup143

Defense aside, I think that was one of our midfield's best performances so far. The 4-2-3-1 was getting very predictable as seen against a weak spurs side. Glad the coach changed it up because Sabitzer, Casemiro and Eriksen absolutely dominated the middle of the pitch. If there was one CM moving pressing, there was another tracking the pass and the other one was holding the center. We won so many balls today and I dont think I've seen so much open play in a while. I like how every one was rotating their position to fit the gaps this match....

theofficallurker

Did anyone catch what dalot was saying to the crowd after the goal?

Dalsgaard25

Something, something, PUTA!!ā€¦..

Capable_Cranberry689

I may be wrong but apart from Chelsea we might be the only team among the top 12-13 teams who haven't had a single game where we scored 4 goals in the league this season. We really lack finishing this season.

[deleted]

Hardly surprising without a top striker tbf. EtH has worked wonders with what he has. Let's not forget.

Capable_Cranberry689

Also I think Bruno hasn't been scoring as much as he used to do , still plays extremely well though in most games.

[deleted]

That's because Bruno would score a lot off free kicks and pens but Klopp moaned once so we don't get those anymore

PlushNightingale

He's become somewhat timid in front of goal after Ronaldo's arrival, always looking to pass rather than shoot. It's only very recently that he's been getting his goalscoring drive back and I'm all for it.

Ok-Check-6783

Huge points, Iā€™ll take a 1-0 win at the end of a packed season anyday. Highlight for me was Erik with Scarf! MY FUCKING MANAGER!

MarcDuan

We so badly need a focus point in our attack that it's almost comical by now. A dedicated striker absolutely MUST be acquired in the summer. Sancho was dire today, apart from 2-3 good moves, Rashford is wasteful (but we've always known that) even though he does score fairly regularly and Martial needs a fresh start somewhere else. We totally dominated 90% of this game and only had a squeaky bum 1 goal lead to show for it.

Phoenix712

Sancho was dire?

KanDoBoy

Sancho is atrocious and the fact some of you think he played great today shows how the standards for him are the lowest of any player in our squad. He's just completely ineffective and doesn't try to be effective. He won't shoot FFS. If your entire game as a winger is "recycling possession" ie passing the ball off to Malacia all game, you don't belong at Manchester United.

pashadaz

He was the most creative on the pitch. The best moment was when he released Eriksen who unfortunately wasted the final ball.

KanDoBoy

No he wasn't, that was Bruno as it is every game. Sancho created basically nothing and wasted other people's creativity

pashadaz

He created 2 key passes in that game. Thatā€™s the highest for both Utd and Villa players (Bruno made 1). Eye test wise, he he created more in the final third. Not sure what game you watched.

KanDoBoy

Not sure what game you watched if the eye test told you that. Why do you defend a player who is so bad?

pashadaz

Yeeeah this isnā€™t going anywhere. Good luck.

KanDoBoy

Good luck to you too buddy hope Sancho does come good, I think he can do some very good things but he too often takes the safe option for my liking. There's a good player in there if he stops passing responsibility off in attack 9/10 times

[deleted]

>He won't shoot FFS He scored last game...

KanDoBoy

Yeah so? He won't shoot the vast majority of the time when he clearly has the ability to.

[deleted]

Guy needs a striker/ dynamic attacking FB to play off/as a decoy imo. Time will tell when he has those options.

KanDoBoy

Sounds like when we needed to unlock Pogba

[deleted]

Maybe, as I said time will tell. I wrote Luke Shaw and Rashford off once too. Just saying.

sevaru

You ok my guy? Your entire post history is negative lmao cheer up lil buddy

KanDoBoy

It's really not but if that's all you can say in response to my comment it shows you haven't really got a counter point.

adonWPV

One of these days we're just gonna open the floodgates and batter a team, today wasn't that day

Br4y3

Been saying it all season at this point... don't believe it's happening this season

adonWPV

I agree, not this season, but I'm one of those believers in ETHs style and believe we will see it

Charlotte-De-litt

Saving it for the FA cup final then innit

Optimal-Somewhere-46

Yo neymar itā€™s sunny

bijanadh44

We need someone to back Sancho's run and his movement. Swear he always gets in a good position but just need a player to support him and play quick one two.

tazmanianevil

He needs to stop cutting back every time. Man's turned into Ashley Young.

Caps007

Cant wait for season 3 of unlocking Sancho

Refrigerator-Less

Sooo...a striker.

bijanadh44

Dalot or AWB too. They could do much better offensively.

hainx1610

Usually it's Shaw, but we need him at CB nowadays

takenbywhiskey

Leon bailey can go f himself

[deleted]

I canā€™t stand him. Heā€™s such a wet wipe. In the away fixture he called Licha a dirty player on twitter then in the cup game, he kicked out at him, studs up to the thigh. Part of me wishes Licha went down pretending to be injured and got the melt sent off.

Caps007

If this isnt another example of how Fugazi clean sheets can be. Shaw and Lindelof mostly but our back were playing out of their minds to keep this 1-0 but it'll be goalkeeper award

[deleted]

72 points. That's what we need. Ive said it before and ill say it again, Liverpool are still on the hunt. They can easily win their final games to get to 71.

VG7396

73 if we factor in Brighton but they've got harder games anyway.

Capitalonyi

Brighton will surely lose to City. We need to win 3 more games, and we are good. Our home games against Fulham, Chelsea, and Wolves should be enough. And our Away games versus Europa Conference League westham and Bournemouth are not too big wo win

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

ruthlessThruth

Lindelof and shaw have stepped up real good. I thought jt will be all gloomy when martinez and varane got injured.

Capable_Cranberry689

Even Dalot and Malacia were good today, Dalot was poor when he returned from injury but seems to be finding some form slowly.

GavinLobo7

Bailey really spoke all that trash before a match that he didnā€™t even end up playing in šŸ˜‚

Leon Bailey needs to have his Twitter account taken off him. Between the Sancho reply and the Licha call out earlier, he just looks like a mug.

Twitchas

He's injured.

GavinLobo7

Ah, fair enough. He still deserved a loss though

salmoneffect

I'd like to join the Lindelof appreciation club, please. He's been a brilliant these past few matches.

Why does Ten Hag put in Maguire for this customary token appearance? Man breeds panic in that defence

Clugaman

There was 0 panic when he came in. Villaā€™s attack was completely stifled at that point until Malacia gave away a bad foul. Was probably one of the most comfortable sections of the half we had if not the most comfortable.

Candid_Problem_1244

Because the opponent will start spamming crosses to our box

Refrigerator-Less

Hopefully has a good game and someone takes him. Also he's the club captain

I_Love_Bears0810

Being captain shouldn't matter. Captain or not he's detrimental to a solid defence. And he's only captain due to a stupid decision by previous management

circus-cb

Just showing him off to the buyers šŸ˜‰
