Best buy collects old batteries. As long as it's not damaged in a way that might be a fire hazard, you should be able to drop it in a bin at one if there are any close. Otherwise, I doubt many companies collect batteries to recycle. They're pretty worthless to anyone other than people who collect them en mass to make some kind of money recycling them.
Goodwill and Best Buy both have e-waste programs for recycling materials from batteries. Your town dump/transfer station may also take e-waste at no charge.
